Hello once more, my dear readers,

It's been a while since my last update, longer than I initially expected. I want to extend my heartfelt apologies for the delay, and I truly appreciate your patience.
But I'm back now, eager to continue our story. Thank you for sticking around. Let's dive into this new chapter together.

The final day of the Kingdom Games had arrived, and the air was electric with anticipation. It was a day when excitement flowed through every corner, from the bustling training grounds to the grand arena, where the ultimate showdown would take place. Competitors from diverse realms were busy honing their skills, each in their own unique way.

Warriors engaged in spirited swordplay, their blades clashing in a harmonious dance of skill and determination. Meanwhile, others focused on limbering up their muscles, preparing for the challenges that lay ahead. The energy and enthusiasm were palpable, weaving a vibrant tapestry of anticipation that painted a vivid picture of the day's events.

Jungkook observed all of this from his room's window when a knock echoed through his chamber. He opened the door to find Yoongi and Namjoon waiting outside. Warm greetings were exchanged as they entered.

"We've come to help you get ready, considering your injured hand," Namjoon explained, while Yoongi headed straight for the bed.

Jungkook, though appreciative, responded, "You didn't have to, you know. I could have asked the attendants for assistance."

"Don't be too modest. Just tell us what you plan to wear today," Namjoon said as he moved to the closet to find an outfit for Jungkook.

Jungkook indicated his choice, and with Namjoon's help, he was assisted out of his nightwear and into the bathtub. When he emerged, Namjoon carefully dried his hair, knowing Jungkook couldn't manage it himself.

"I thought you both came here to help me," Jungkook remarked, glancing at Yoongi, who was sprawled on the bed, staring at the ceiling.

Yoongi quipped, "Never said that. I just came because your bed is exceptionally comfy," as he playfully wiggled on the bed. However, he soon got up and assisted Jungkook in donning his chosen outfit.

After dressing up jungkook stood there adoring a crisp white dress shirt with delicate ruffles adorning the collar and cuffs, lending a touch of sophistication, paired with high-waisted pants in rich brown hue. To complete this dapper look, he also wore knee length black boots.

"Will everyone be leaving tomorrow?" Jungkook asked, glancing at his reflection in the mirror as he tidied up his hair. "Yes, most of them will be heading back tomorrow because they have their own kingdoms to tend to. The exception is Emperor Taehyung and his brother; they plan to stay for an extra day or two," Yoongi explained while assisting Jungkook with his rings.

Jungkook couldn't help but feel a sense of happiness upon learning that Taehyung would be extending his stay. As he fumbled with his thoughts, he pondered the unexpected warmth he found in the emperor's company. While he had heard plenty about the emperor before, this newfound fondness seemed to stem from his personal interactions rather than mere hearsay.

Jungkook considered himself fortunate to have had the opportunity to know Taehyung up close. The emperor's intelligence and wisdom had not only earned his respect but had also touched Jungkook's heart in profound, indescribable ways. He couldn't help but fondly reminisce about their deep conversations, the adventures they'd shared, and the genuine connection they'd forged. Their discussions transcended politics and delved into the depths of their souls.

Jungkook was acutely aware that his feelings toward the emperor went beyond mere respect. He recognized that a genuine interest had blossomed within him. He had perused enough books to understand that the racing of his heart wasn't merely a response to nervousness in the emperor's presence; it was something deeper.
