I love how they look at each other when the other isn't watching.

While everyone else enjoyed casual conversations over the meal, Yoongi and Jungkook were busy scurrying around, meticulously inspecting the chambers where the Emperor and his brother were expected to stay. They had rushed to the palace as if their lives depended on it upon receiving the news that their eagerly anticipated guest had arrived, determined to personally oversee this important duty.

As the others welcomed their guest, Jungkook helped Yoongi in removing his wig and the various feminine pieces of jewelry he had been wearing. Namjoon assisted them in conveying the situation to the king, tactfully removing the detail of how Yoongi had been dressed as a girl.

"Prince, they have finished their meal. They should be on their way here," a worker standing at the threshold hurriedly informed the two young men. Without wasting a moment, both boys dashed for the door and sprinted down the hallway. Just as they turned a corner into a different hallway, their guest took a turn into the corridor they had just vacated.

They could hear footsteps and hushed voices approaching. Both of them took deep breaths in an attempt to steady their racing hearts. "I thought I was going to meet my end, and it wasn't nearly as pleasant as I had imagined," Yoongi muttered, shooting a playful glare at Jungkook. "This is all your fault, you rascal. I had to sprint like a maniac in front of everyone because of you."

"Just imagine what the palace workers must be thinking about me, their prince, dashing around as if I'd stolen something," Jungkook whispered loudly, wide-eyed and incredulous.

Once their breathing had returned to a steady rhythm, they cautiously peered into the hallway. They observed the two men engaged in conversation near their respective doors, their faces hidden from view. Following a brief exchange, the smaller man joyfully strolled to his room, laughter accompanying his steps, while the taller individual, likely the Emperor, entered the room designated for him. It was evident from the impressive stature and broad shoulders that the towering figure was indeed the esteemed Emperor, leading them to their conclusion.

Once they were certain everyone had retired to their rooms, Yoongi and Jungkook decided to head to the dining room to have their meal before retiring to their own chambers. Upon entering the dining room, they discovered that the king, queen, and Jungkook's father were still seated, seemingly waiting for them.

"Jungkook, you should have been present to welcome our guest. Prince Jimin was also eager to meet you," his father gently scolded. "And really? You ventured to the town square without informing anyone. You know Namjoon was so worried. The one time he leaves you alone, you decide to venture out of the castle when we have so many guests. What if someone wanted to meet you?" He continued his reprimand.

Sensing that his father wouldn't stop if he didn't act swiftly, Jungkook put on an innocent expression with wide, puppy eyes and directed his gaze toward the king and queen, who quickly softened. "Oh, hyung, don't scold him too much. He just wanted to enjoy himself a bit. Didn't you see how hard he was working?" The king came to Jungkook's defense. The queen joined in, adding, "I also heard he won the local sword fight. My brave boy." Jungkook's father shook his head with a smile, muttering, "This brat."

Jungkook nodded joyfully and took a seat, pulling Yoongi into the chair beside his own. Without wasting a moment, they both dug into their meal, their content expressions not going unnoticed by their elders, who smiled at the sight.

"Tomorrow, you'll have the task of showing the Emperor and his brother around Kama Kingdom. They've expressed their desire to explore and experience the beauty of our kingdom," the king informed the prince, who looked at him wide-eyed. "Okay, can I also take Yoongi hyung and Namjoon hyung with me?" Jungkook agreed and inquired.
