As the commencement of the 'Kingdom Games' drew nearer, everyone found themselves engrossed in preparations. Jungkook hardly had a moment to unwind, as he was determined to ensure that everything unfolded flawlessly. Some guests had already arrived, while others were still en route.

Although the official start of the contest was scheduled for the following week, many of the guests had arrived early to become acquainted with each other. Additionally, for many of them, this marked their first visit to Kama, and they were eager to revel in its beauty during their stay.

During the evening, they received news that the Cosmos Empire had graciously accepted their invitation and pledged to attend the games. Upon hearing this, Jungkook shot a glance at Yoongi, who wore an initially horrified expression. However, as soon as their eyes met, Yoongi attempted to mask his emotions, though his frustration remained unmistakable.

Jungkook couldn't help but chuckle to himself knowingly while enjoying his meal. As dinner concluded, Yoongi hurriedly excused himself, clearly avoiding an encounter with the prince. Jungkook chuckled again, watching Yoongi retreat, and muttered to himself, "I'm not going to let this opportunity slip away. A bet's a bet."

The next morning, Yoongi was roused from his slumber by persistent and impatient knocks on his door. He silently cursed the early morning disturbance and reluctantly opened the door, only to be met with none other than Prince Jungkook, who was sporting a bright and cheerful smile despite the early hour.

Recollections of the previous night's events rushed through Yoongi's mind, and he attempted to shut the door hastily. However, Jungkook was quick to slip inside and secure the door behind him. With a mouthful of dried fruit, he greeted Yoongi, "Good morning, dear best friend. Did you have a pleasant sleep? I'm willing to bet you did."

Yoongi's frustration was evident on his face as he retorted, "I know why you're here, and I'm telling you, I'm not going through with it."

Jungkook, still relishing Yoongi's discomfort, chuckled and replied, "Oh no, no, no, you can't back out now. A bet's a bet. If I had lost the bet, it would have been me in your shoes. And let's not forget, it was you who initiated this bet in the first place. You confidently stated that Cosmos would never accept an invitation from a kingdom as small as ours. So, now you must face the consequences."

"Still I am not going through with it." Yoongi still stood by his decision.

Jungkook chuckled, his mock sympathy dripping with sarcasm. "Oh, hyung, don't be such a sore loser. I thought you loved a good challenge, and here you are, showing cowardice. I knew from the very start that the confidence you display is just a facade, in real you are a coward. But don't worry I won't tel-

"Fine, fine! I'll do it, okay? But you better not tell anyone about this."

Prince grinned triumphantly. "That's the spirit, my friend. Don't worry, I won't tell a soul...unless, of course, you chicken out."

Yoongi clenched his fists, feeling trapped. "I won't chicken out, Jungkook. I'll do it, but I swear, you're enjoying this way too much."

Jungkook chuckled, "I suppose we're headed to my room then. I've discreetly requested all the necessary items from Eleanor, and I'm fairly certain they must be awaiting us in my bed by now." With those words, Jungkook led the way to his room, with Yoongi reluctantly following, his thoughts filled with regret over his past decisions.

"And by the way," Jungkook added, "we'll also be heading to the town square to witness the local sword fight. Now that I'm finally free from all the work, I want to kick back and enjoy a bit." Jungkook spoke with a playful tone, well aware that Yoongi was likely shooting daggers at him with his glares from behind.
