Smriti's POV -

As I settled into my seat on the plane, the anticipation of what lay ahead filled my heart with an exquisite mixture of excitement and nervousness. The hum of the aircraft's engines seemed to resonate with the beating of my heart, a rhythmic reminder that our journey to Udaipur for our wedding had begun.

Vivek sat beside me, his presence a reassuring anchor amidst the whirlwind of emotions that threatened to consume me. The past week had been a whirlwind of activity, all in preparation for this momentous occasion. It had been a constant flurry of shopping for wedding attire, sending out extravagant invitations to friends, family, business partners, and colleagues, and making sure every detail was perfect.

But now, as I looked out the window and watched the world below shrink into miniature, it was as if time had slowed. The bustling city we were leaving behind was gradually replaced by the serene landscape of Udaipur, with its shimmering lakes and majestic palaces.

The journey ahead promised not only the union of two souls but also a celebration that would be etched into our memories forever. I couldn't help but steal a glance at Vivek, who was deep in thought, a faint smile playing on his lips. His unwavering support and love had been my constant throughout this whirlwind, and I knew that together, we were embarking on a new chapter of our lives.

With a contented sigh, I turned my gaze back to the window. The plane soared through the vast expanse of the sky, carrying us toward a future filled with love, laughter, and countless cherished moments.

"Ladies and gentlemen, we are now approaching Maharana Pratap Airport in Udaipur. Please fasten your seatbelts and ensure your seatbacks and tray tables are in their upright and locked positions. We hope you had a pleasant flight with us, and we thank you for choosing to fly with our airline today."

As soon as the announcement made by the air hostess fell on my ears, I felt my insides do somersaults with excitement and nervousness. I turned to look at Vivek to find him grinning at me from ear-to-ear. This was the moment I knew that Vivek is also as excited as me.

He quickly grabbed my hand when the plane started descending for landing and both of us turned our heads to look outside the window to witness the sheer beauty of the city of Udaipur.

"On behalf of the entire crew, we would like to wish you a warm welcome to Udaipur. For those of you visiting for the first time, we hope you have a wonderful stay in this beautiful city. For our returning passengers, welcome back. Thank you for flying with us, and we look forward to serving you again on future flights. Have a great day, and enjoy your time in Udaipur."

"Bhabhiiiiiii we are here!!!!" Amrita who was sitting next to Vivek whisper-yelled as she tried to grab my hand.

"Don't you think doing this would be much easier if you unbuckle your seatbelt." Vivek chuckled at Amrita's enthusiasm.

We then grabbed our overhead luggage and de-boarded the plane and finished rest of the formalities before heading out of the airport.

Vivek, ever the meticulous planner, had already arranged for a fleet of cars and vans to transport our arriving guests. As we stepped outside, the warm Udaipur air embraced us, a soothing contrast to the cool confines of the airplane.
