The moment the sound of gunshot went off screams filled the place as people start dropping dead on the floor.
Turning around my hand is gripped tightly by Damien who starts walking fast.
"What is happening Damien"I ask trying to remove my hand from his tight grip.
"An attack is happening so I'll need you to follow My sister home"He says in a stern voice that left no room for arguements.
"Bu-t But what about you Damien"I ask worried of what might happen to him here.
he chuckles softly and pulls My body flush against his.
"Don't worry Baby nothing will happen to me,remember your man is The king himself"He says with slight amusement in His eyes as he held My frame close to his.
"My fami-"I begin to say but I am cut off by another round of gunshots abd screams.
"They will be fine"He says in a firm voice that sounded positive. chosing to believe him we continue walking with him blocking My body with his.
"Sir"A voice says and I look up to see a man who looks huge with bald head.
Nodding Damien places a ligering kiss on My forehead and gently pushes me towards The man.
"Go with him,and listen to him till you are in The car"He instructs while staring at me with worried filled eyes.
After repeating His words for what seemed like hours and also with me rolling My eyes at him at which he glared.
I am led to The car and The moment I enter the car I am met with Zara and Amy.
"Thank God you are here"Zara says while hugging me.
''Yeah,Amy are you alright"I ask as she just kept quiet and looks a bit shakened.
"Yes she is,she just shocked"Zara replies and I shift closer to Amy hugging her.
"Calm down bella"I tell her while rubbing her arms soothingly.
"Are you ok Rosie"she asks me while staring at me.
"Yes I am,your family did not attend the ball"I ask her wondering why she is going with us.
"Oh they did not,So I ask my brother to allow her go with us"Zara answers while taking out my phone from my purse.
we sit in silence for the rest of the the ride and I was wondering if Damien is safe.
getting to the house we walk into our seperate rooms after hugging each other.
lying on the bed I am left worried for damien.
"Dio,I pray he comes back well soon"I silently pray putting my hands together while fear started growing in me.
I start drifting off to sleep but I am interrupted by the door opening.
sitting up I am met with a shirtless Damien. I guess he changed and showered before coming into my room.
"Baby"he calls out softly while walking towards my bed.Not knowing what compelled me to I rush towards him and wrap my hands around him.
"Are you ok"I ask while quickly removing my hands and examining his body for any injuries.
"Yes baby,I am fine"He answers while smiling at me his hand placed on my head.
"hmm"I hum after confirming he is alright.
"You are worried about me"He says more than ask.
"I-I"I stutter unable to form words while a slight blush covers my cheeks.
crawling back into my blanket I secure it around my chest lying down on the bed.
The space beside me suddenly deeps and I feel arms wrap around my waist from behind.
"Damien"I call out in a warning voice my body already reacting to his touch.
"Sleep"he simply says in that deep voice of his and I just smile while shifting closer to his warmth feeling happy.
And we both drift off into a peaceful slumber.
