"Nat. You sure you want to go though with this?" Clint asked as Nat strolled into the room in Bruce's big gray bathrobe. She smiled at him widely. He couldn't help but notice that she was glowing.
"I've never wanted anything more in my life." She said sitting across from him taking the cup of coffee he was drinking and taking a sip. He smiled at her as she wrapped her hands around the mug. The sleeve of Bruce's robe covering everything but her fingers.
He stared out the window of Clint's farm house. Of course she made him her Maid of Honor. She didn't have anyone else. His wife was also a brides maid. Bruce was at Tony's and of course they had a big party last night. But Natasha wasn't worried. She knew and felt Bruce's love for her even when he's not around. "Where did you even get that thing?" Clint said picking at the robe. She pulled back defensively and looked at him with a warning.
"I smuggled it here." She said smiling a bit.
"Uh...why?" He chuckled.
"Because it smells like him." She said crossing her arms over her chest and daring him to make fun of her. Clint just laughed and stood up. He paced around the kitchen.
"You hungry Nat?" He asked finally leaning against on of the cabinets. She turned and looked a little disappointed.
"Do you ever have to ask that?" She laughed he grinned finally feeling useful he started to make some eggs and bacon for Natasha. She sat and sighed super content with what was going to happen that evening. Her dress upstairs hung up on the wall waiting for its big debut. Of course several time she caught Bruce searching the house trying to find it to see what it looked like. She laughed remember how guilty and red his cute face got when she found him snooping.
Bruce. Just his name put a smile on her face. He was shy and intelligent. Let's not forget super dorky. Nat stood up and strolled over and leaned against the counter where Clint was scrambling eggs.
"Do you think I made the right choice?" Nat asked suddenly frightened by the whole situation. Clint looked up at her with a face that said it all. "Really?" He said raising an eyebrow. She smiled at him and sipped his coffee. He looked at the mug and took it from her drinking the rest of it. She smiled and began to make some more. She was surprised at how calm she felt, when in less than 7 hours she was about to become Mrs. Bruce Banner. Too stubborn to take his last name of course, but she was willing to become his and that's all that mattered to Bruce.

Bruce on the other hand did not have a peaceful morning like Natasha did. The party Tony threw was too much, he ended up waiting until Tony was hammered and went upstairs to sit on the porch. He tried to calm his shaking hands by leaning into the railing breathing the fresh air in deeply. He wished more than anything Nat was there. She would be able to calm his frayed nerves and sooth them. He didn't sleepy too well either. Tony stumbled into his room very drunk and Bruce had to lead him into the bathroom so he didn't throw up on Bruce's tux. Once he got Tony into bed he wandered back into the room he was staying in. He tossed and turned all night. It wasn't until 6:30am that he finally got some sleep. 30 mins of it. Steve burst into his room at 7:00am in the morning pulled all of Bruce's blankets off him. Bruce sighed and sat up.
"Are you like a two year old?" He asked his dark hair frazzled as he rubbed his face from sleep. Steve smiled really big.
"Come on man, it's your wedding day!" Steve shouted. Yeah because he would forget something like that. He started to feel really warm. He stood pulling on an oversized hoodie and some sweats and followed Steve downstairs. He has set up a whole huge breakfast. Pepper was there too. Which was weird, she was a brides made. Tony being the best man refused to walk Nat's Maid of honor. Honestly Bruce would die if Tony walked Clint down the isle, but Tony threw a fit and refused to be best man unless he could walk pepper down the isle. We then had Jane and Thor. Thor was on the couch already stuffing his face. Bruce's head was pounding and he felt like he was going to throw up.
"Bruce, you need to eat something." Pepper stated, Bruce was circling around the food not really wanting any of it. Pepper placed her hand on Bruce's shoulder. He felt sick there's no way he was eating.
"So when are we going to the hair dressers. I really need a hair cut." Bruce tried to play it off naturally.
"Natasha said, in her list of rules and I quote, 'And for god's sakes do not let that man cut his hair' end quote." Steve said with a mouth full of cantaloupe. Bruce smiled he thought of how much she loved it when his dark curls were a mess. She would run her fingers through them until he's fall asleep.
"Where are my other garments?" Thor asked standing up. He had cleared about 17 plates before he decided he was full.
"Up stairs in Tony's room. The flowers are downstairs in the fridge." Bruce said vacantly. He kept scratching the back of his head and kept fiddling with the strings of his hoodie. He was dying for some fresh air.
"Actually I'll come with you, Tony needs to be woken up and he's not your biggest fan." Bruce said. Thor shrugged and headed upstairs. Bruce handed his empty plate to Pepper and followed after Thor. Once in Tony's room Thor was shifting through Tony's closet. Bruce went over and shook Tony who opened his eyes, spotted Bruce, hooked him with his elbow and flopped him on the the other side of his bed. "Happy birthday man!" Tony shouted Bruce laughed out of breath.
"I'm getting married, not older." He said Tony sat up.
"Oh yeah."
And then the preparation chaos began.
