My eyes fluttered open. It was bright. Really bright. I groaned and covered my eyes with my hands. I assumed it was morning. It was too late to be in the morning. I gasped and sat upright quickly. Was it a school day? What time is it?

It was then that I realised I had an audience. My face flushed red. It was Leo. Memories came flooding back to me.

"You... Zack, he—where am I?"

"Sickbay?" Leo grinned.

"Seriously."

"You're at my house."

"Seriously?" I raised an eyebrow. I glanced around the room. It was huge. I felt like a princess waking up in her room. The room was decorated with stars that probably glow in the dark. Although Leo was there, I felt uncomfortable there. I can't explain it. It was like a gut feeling that screamed at me to get out of there immediately. I hopped out of bed and say,"If you don't mind, I'm leaving. I'm not supposed to be here."

"No!" Leo said a little too desperately, "You can't go. Umm, because..."

I put my hand on the door handle. I smiled. He looked so cute when he was flustered. "Bye."

Before I could turn the door handle, someone beat me to it. Zack stepped into the room swiftly, took a glance at me and ran a hand through his blond hair.

"We need to talk." Zack stared at Leo.

"What about her?" Leo gave a nod in my direction.

Zack gave him a "You should already know" look. Leo gave him a stiff nod,"You're legally not allowed to do that."

"Why make rules if you can't break them?"

"That's literally the purpose, so that you can't break them."

Zack stared at me. I stared back, dazed. I couldn't look away. It was addicting. I can't explain it but when I did manage to pry myself away from his icy glare, I stumbled back to the bed and collapsed in a heap. I fell into a deep, deep slumber. The darkness swallowed me once again, and I can't explain it but this time I welcomed it. This must be how sleeping beauty felt. It was my last thought before I felt a tug of blankets over my shoulders. I felt as if I would never awaken.
