Jennie stands on her balcony in her black robe from before. The moon hangs brightly on the night sky along with all the stars. Everything has a glistening sheen from the storm, making the moonlight bounce off of everything. A breeze goes through from the after effects of the storm, bring along with it the smell of wet leaves and earth. Jennie enjoys the feel of the wind against her skin, rustling her hair and robe.
They had just finished showering. Lisa still had to take care of her damp clothes and finish her night routine while Jennie was already to go to sleep. However, the night sky beckoned her from her balcony and Lisa wasn't ready anyways.
Jennie heard Lisa shuffling behind her, but she didn't bother turning around.
"It was a night just like this when we first met," Jennie says.
She doesn't have to speak loudly because it's so quiet at night, like everything has just died.
"It feels so long ago." Lisa replies from behind her.
Jennie feels Lisa approach her and hug her from behind. She rested her chin on her shoulder and Jennie leaned their heads together.
"I remember when I first laid my eyes on you," Lisa whispers into her ear. "I had just caught you, like an angel falling from heaven. You looked up at me like I was the first person to see you without wings and accept you. You were so beautiful I couldn't believe my eyes, just like the moon that night."
Jennie turns in her arms so that they were facing each other. Lisa had a small smile on her face from the memory, as she gazed at Jennie's face like she was seeing it again for the first time.
"I fell because of you. When I first saw you, I quite literally died because of how beautiful you were. My breath got stuck in my throat." Jennie lovingly tells, voice soft.
Lisa chuckles softly at her story.
Jennie cradles Lisa's cheek, eyes peering deeply into her dreamy, obsidian eyes ㅡ dark like the night.
"And when we first danced you moved so perfectly with me, like we were one, and I thought this must be the person I'm meant to meet. The person I've been waiting for."
"From the moment I saw you, I knew that you were it. There would be nothing else but you." Lisa says, voice clear in the night. "The love I feel for you is so impossibly strong. It doesn't matter how short of time I've known you. I know you. Jennie Kim, you captivated me completely with your feline eyes and kind demeanour. Your knowledge astounds me and your hard work and dedication to what you do inspire me constantly. You love your family so strongly and it makes me wish to be a part of your family as well."
Jennie's breathe stutters at her words, eyes watering and hands coming up to cover her surprised mouth.
"You are, Lisa. I considered you family since that first day," Jennie says, choked up. "I consider you, my love who holds my entire heart."
"I may have lied to you a bit," Lisa admits, sheepishly. "I did have to go on this trip for work but, I also went to go get you something."
Lisa reaches into the pocket of her own striped robe and pulls out a velvet box.
"One-of-a-kind, just like you darling. I knew you deserve the best and only the best. I wanted something that could reflect just how much I love and cherish you; how much I want to show you my love." Lisa tenderly says, holding the box in front of her.
Lisa flips the lid open, revealing a gorgeous Emerald gemstone laid in brushed gold with prongs, side by side with two smaller diamonds.
Jennie is trembling at the sight of the ring, tears streaming down her face as she can't quite grasp the reality of the situation.
"Jennie, darling," Lisa says, using her free hand to cup Jennie's jaw. "My moon, my love, my everything. Will you marry me?"
Hearing Lisa say the words out loud make Jennie gasp. She's shaking now, from excitement, from love, from wonder. There's a whirlwind inside of her that's destroying any sense of comprehension.
"Yes." Jennie says, through tears and a big smile that completely overtakes her face. "Yes, yes, yes! Please marry me! Lisa, I love you!" She shouts, head nodding vigorously.
Lisa is smiling just as widely and a few tears have escaped her eyes as well. She takes Jennie's left hand, giving her knuckles a quick kiss, before sliding the ring onto her finger. The entire time Jennie can't stop staring with wide eyes as she barely believes this is happening to her. Finally, after years, she's found her perfect soulmate.
Lisa gently pulls in her shaking body, wrapping her arms around her before resting their foreheads together. Jennie cups her neck, breath stuttering through her tears.
"I love you so much, Lisa. I can't possibly put it into words how much you mean to me." She says, through tears, voice earnest and eyes shinning.
"My heart only beats for you, Jennie." Lisa whispers.
She slots their lips together and even though it tastes like salty tears, Jennie thinks it's perfect.
"Me and you for indefinitely, my moon."

notes:
I'm not sure if anyone picked up on this but Jennie's pet, black widow's name, November, is supposed to be a play on the name Wednesday. Jisoo's pet python, Noodle, is a play on Kitty the lion from the show. Octavius was just the male version of a name I really liked. I spent more time than I should have thinking of their names.
I wanted this to be a mix of The Addams Family and Pride and Prejudice, and a sprinkle of Chuck and Blair (from Gossip Girl) which happened to be the movies I watched the most while writing this fic. I have one more scene I would love to add so I might make a sequel. Maybe. Or maybe not.
Also, thank you guys very very veryyy much to those who waited for update on this fic XD idk what to say anymore, just wanna let you guys know I love y'all from to the Jennie (bottom) and Lisa (top) of my heart. ♡
ㅡ sincerely,
Vinnie.
