❦❦Who knew she was so good with kids?
Watching August with Sophie was like déjà vu and werid enough I found it oddly cute how she acts like a big baby with her. I felt like I was watching two kids literally but I didn't mind it was adorable.
Sophie ended up getting sleepy after a few more hours of playing so we decided to take her home which she was fussy about but once her head hit her seat she was knocked out. August carried her inside and laid her on the bed before giving her a kiss on the forehead making me smile.
"What are you smiling for?" She tilted her head with a small smile on her face. God She so beautiful.
"You're just really good with kids, it's cute." Her cheeks reddened as she cleared her throat.
"I'm hungry, what about you?" I chuckled.
"Changing the subject now are we? Yes I am actually I haven't ate since this morning." She crossed her arms and glared at me. "Why haven't you ate anything? It's literally almost 8, have you drank anything?" I shook my head no.
"I wasn't exactly thinking of food or drinks earlier." She nodded. She started to say something but just walked towards the kitchen before grabbing a bottle of water out of the fridge and handing it to me. I muttered a small thank you before taking a few drinks as the cold liquid hit my throat.
"So are you ready to talk about it?" She leaned back on the counter with her arms crossed. I admired her stunning features for a second until I heard her clear her throat. I let out a long sigh before sitting the water in the counter.
It's now or never Alice.
"Remember when we were kids and we'd play out in my family's old barn before you know everything that happened with my dad?" She smiled brightly.
"Of course, we had our first wedding under the big oak tree where the pond was with those old wedding rings your mom gave us. I have yours actually." I smiled. She remembered.. while I forgot. I suppressed so many of my memories I forgot the most important one.
"Where are they?" She lifted up her hand that had two sliver rings on them. On one her middle finger while the other was on her index finger. She started taking one off before grabbing my hand gently and slipping it on.
"I remember your mom used to always find us at the most awkward moments which is why she always teased us about getting together even though we're were so young." We both laughed.
"Yeah especially that time she scared us so bad we ended up falling onto each other and accidentally kissing I'm pretty sure she probably has that photo still." Her eyes widened.
"If she does I want it. Next time I see her remind me to ask her."
"Not a chance, we both know that photo needs to be burned and never mentioned or else she'll have full on rant about us." She pouted. I scoffed as she attempted to mimic the iconic puss in boots face.
"Please I'll uh, I'll give you head." She wiggled her eyebrows up and down. I stared at her for a second before her eyes widened.
"I'll consider it." I lied
"Never mind. I will not be giving you anything." She crossed her arms and turned the other way.
"Im sure you won't." I teased. She punched my arm playfully before we both started laughing.
