"Did you grab her diapers?" Alice questioned while gently putting our one month old into her car seat. I grabbed the diaper bag off the counter and stuffed in at least seven diapers along with her bottle and the rest of her essentials. "Yes I got everything, you got the gift for them babe?" I asked while getting into the drivers seat and starting up the engine.
"I think so, we're gonna be late. It starts in twenty minutes!" She quickly said before getting in as well and buckling up. Alice sighed softly before relaxing into the seat of our new Nissan Armada, since my mustang wasn't exactly appropriate for a newly born child. Thankfully though I didn't have to get rid of it, that would have broke my heart.
A lot has happened over the past few months, Alice has been going to law school while I've been attending medical school. It's been hella busy but we've been managing it pretty well with the help of our parents.
They've been a big help with Valerie while we balance our classes but I made sure Alice was able to focus on her's without stressing so much so it's been me working while she has little Valerie. We were both 18 now and living on our own and although it's been hectic, we're doing okay and we're happy.
Valerie had more of Alice's features besides the fact we were both chunky babies. She had chestnut brown hair and hazel eyes and the most adorable little face I've ever seen and don't get me started on her toothless smile. Although she wasn't but a month old, she sure smiled a ton. I couldn't ask for anything better than this, I loved my little family, they made life worth living.
"You nervous about giving away Ivy?" I asked curiously as I reached for her hand. She placed her hand in mine before smiling. "I'm ready to see her in that dress." She smirked proudly. "I'm ready to see you in your dress." I winked before bringing her hand to my lips before kissing her knuckles.
She rolled her eyes but smiled anyways before turning her eyes to the front, her face was flushed and I could feel her heart beating from her hand. When she held Valerie in her arms for the very first time I knew I wanted to marry her. How couldn't I? She was so beautiful and the mother of my child.
We pulled in front of the chapel before getting out and fixing our outfits in a hurry before getting Valerie out with her car seat. Her little curious eyes opened and started looking around before she started making little noises. When we got inside the chapel Alice kissed my cheek and then Valerie's forehead gently before she ran off towards the brides room to get ready while I went in search for Molly's room. Valerie got to be the ring bearer while my dad and I were groomsmen for Molly and Alice and my mom were bridesmaids for Ivy, Oh and Alice's brothers were also grooms.
"Oh good! You're finally here, does this look okay?" Ivy questioned while soothing out her dress as she stared into the mirror. I smiled before handing Valerie to my dad gently and walking behind Molly.
"You nervous?" She chuckled nervously. "Very." She sighed before spinning around towards me.
"Just think about how beautiful she's gonna look." I smiled before grabbing her a bottle of water from the fridge next to the snack bar.
She took it from me gently and muttered a small thank you before she took a large gulp. When she was done she sighed deeply and sat the water next to her on the table.
"I've been waiting for this moment for years, I just never thought it would actually happen." She smiled nervously before walking towards my dad who was holding Valerie at the moment. Molly traced her fingers along Valerie's small jaw before kissing her forehead and walking towards the door. It was time to go, I'd be walking Molly down since she didn't have any connections with her parents. I looked at my dad before he nodded and started putting Valerie back in her car seat and joined us.
