Power of friendships (Kazane Fujimiya x male reader)

Facing the Sun

It has been a few days since Y/n befriended Kazane. The pair meet up together on most days of the week. When together they will make up new buddyfight strategies, new decks or something not related to buddyfight and simply hang out. Right now it is recess. Y/n and Kazane leave their sixth grade math class(I know Kazane is a 5th grader but for this story she will be moved up) and are about to head out to the field when a voice calls out to Y/n.
???:Hey, Y/n!
They turn and see a new face. It is a boy around their age. wears black and indigo jacket, which is also reversible to reveal a orange and yellow symbol resembling the sun on his back, over a scarlet undershirt sporting another orange and yellow symbol resembling the sun and a black collar. Both of his forearms are covered in decorative white bandage wrapping that extends from his elbow to his knuckles. He has short black spiky hair with red spikes towards the front. Three of these red spikes point upwards, with the one on the right being the longest and curling towards his left side. He have big golden eyes. He wears a torn student cap adorned with a sun ornament. He also wears indigo sweatpants with a yellow stripe going along the side, and white shoes with black and yellow accents to his jacket and sweatpants.

???:Hey aren't you Gao Mikado?
Gao:That's right. And I challenge you to a buddyfight!
Y/n:Hard pass.
Everyone knows Y/n to be mostly a loner. He only hangs around Kazane and when she isn't here he hangs in the library, taking in the chilling quiet that most avoid.
Kazane:Come on, don't be like that.
Y/n:Why do you want to fight me? I am an unranked fighter with no buddy.
Gao:Yeah but I saw your buddyfight online and I gotta say, you were awesome. So please accept my challenge.
Y/n ponders this for a moment. The more he plays, the more he can understand the feelings Meiyo felt playing the game.
Y/n:Fine, let's fight.
Gao:Awesome!

We transition to the fight stage. Gao and Y/n are on opposing sides. Kazane and Blade are seated nexted to Gao's friends, Baku Omori and Kuguru Uki. Baku is a tall fairly muscular young man. He has brown hair that is partially covered by a headband. He wears an orange shirt that hides beneath a blue mechanic jumpsuit held by a red waist belt. Kurguru is a girl of average height. She has purple hair tied in two small pigtails that stick out of the circular lamps on her head. She has a light green hairclip that holds a part of her bangs that curl to the right of her face. She wears glasses with circular lenses and a red frame. She wears a white long-sleeve shirt with a fuchsia ribbon and teal accents that extends down to her legs to also act as a skirt. Its appearance is similar to that of a Japanese sailor outfit. She also wears white thigh-high boots with teal accents and a color scheme similar to her shirt.
