NEXO Knights: Power Rangers

Long Ago

Monstrox had still not returned so Bloodthunder had to make a plan in the meantime. "Now that I'm back from that awful cave, I'm going to call an old friend of mine, Jester. He knows how to make trouble. Come forward, Jester!" Bloodthunder summoned Jester through a green portal, he looked like a jester with accordion arms, a mask covering his face, horns on the side of his head, and he was light blue with dark blue on his legs and arms.

"ROAR! I'm free from that cursed prison. I'm alive and ready to serve the master!"

"Excellent. I have chosen you for a very important task. You will use dark magic to wreak havoc in the city." Dragov summoned a pen in Jester's hands. "Yes, I know exactly what you have in mind." Berserker laughed evilly as Bloodthunder teleported Jester to the city. "Excellent."

Tenebris wasn't satisfied with Bloodthunder's idea. "What about the Rangers? They must be destroyed if we are to please Master Monstrox."

"I know that Zathar was a powerful warrior. However, I am powerful as well. My plan will not only destroy the city and find all the armor pieces, but it will also undermine the Power Rangers. That I pledge to Master Monstrox."

Deep within the Dark Forest,  everyone was in the Fortrex. Merlok was teaching the Knights about trust. Aaron was blindfolded and the others surrounded him. "Now then, trust is the key to any team. In order to truly trust each other, you must be willing to put your safety in the hands of the team. Are you ready, Aaron?" Clay waved his hands in front of Aaron showing that he was unable to see in front of him.

"Born ready, Merlok!"

"Excellent. Now slowly fall forward, your team will catch you." Aaron fell forward without hesitation and Lance and Clay caught him with ease. "Excellent."

Ava walked past the group with Ajax wrapped in a blanket. Everyone but Merlok and Aaron joined her as Aaron fell back to the ground.

"Whoa, that fall was rough." Merlok helped Aaron back up and after he removed his blindfold, he watched the others give baby voices to Ajax. "I mean, that's trust for ya."

Merlok walked over to the group to scold them but the crystal ball started to glow. "Dark magic energy is emitting from the forest."

"We'll check it out."

Ajax started gagging. "You okay, Ajax, do I need to burp you?" Just then, Ajax burped smoke in her face. "Robin better get back soon from visiting his parents. I don't know how much longer I can do this."

"Ava, Ajax sees you as his mother and until he is old enough to find his soul-bound, we have to take care of him."

A bright ball of light is seen in the distance watching the rangers run into the forest. They looked around and saw nothing. "It's quiet. Almost too quiet." The Knights looked at Clay after the delivery of his cheesy line. "I always wanted to say that."

Macy looked around with a bad feeling in her stomach. "Guys, I have a feeling that..."

Suddenly, someone in dark green and black armor appeared and said, "Who goes there?!"

"We're being watched." The rangers turned to the man in the armor and got into a battle position. He seemed menacing as he looked like a dark green mechanical dragon.

"What brings you children into these dangerous woods?"

"Give us a second and we'll show you," Clay told him then he, along with the other, ran at the man ready for a fight. However, the man was prepared as well. The rangers fought against the man but he proved to be far more skillful in battle. He took down Macy with a kick and with Lance's fist in his hand he took him down with ease. He kicked Aaron down with Axl and Clay catching him. Macy ran to the man with Clay joining her but even she still proved to be unmatched. Clay fought the man but the man caught his kick under his arm and threw him onto the ground.
