NEXO Knights: Power Rangers

Getting the Zords

So I will refer the Knights to the Rangers from time to time. If it becomes bothersome, please let me know.

A giant blue eagle is seen flying through the air. It screeched loudly as it landed in front of Clay. Clay reached out to pet it but it pulled away. "What's wrong?" It turned and looked at a mountain range. It pointed its wing at the mountain. "What's over there? You? You're friends?"

A loud beeping sound woke Clay up. He shot out of bed and panted hard. He rubbed his head and groaned to himself. 'What's going on? I've been having weird dreams and I can't remember them. Why? What are they about?'

"Everything all right, Clay?" Jestro asked concerned. "Yeah, weird dream. Guess it's me being in a new place is all," Clay told him while rubbing his head. "Don't worry. Same thing happened to me when I came here. The Jitters will go away eventually." Clay nodded and smiled at Jestro. Jestro was a good friend. It helped that the two could relate to each other since they were both orphans. Jestro and Clay both got dressed then left for school.

Throughout the day, Macy, Aaron, Axl, and Lance noticed that Clay was distracted. Even his teachers noticed it. Since he came, Clay quickly became the top student and was excelling in his studies but recently he's been distracted and no one knows why.

After school in the library, Macy, Clay, and the others were studying for a science test but Clay in drawing an eagle flying over a mountain range. "Clay," Macy called out. Clay didn't answer. "Clayman," Aaron called out. Again Clay didn't answer. Lance stood up and shook Clay to get his attention. "What? What? Is there a monster attack?" He asked frantically. "No, there isn't. We've been trying to get your attention for the past five minutes."

Clay blushed in embarrassment. "Sorry, I've been distracted lately," He told them. "We've noticed," Lance said. "Is everything all right?" Axl asked. Clay just shrugged his shoulders. "I don't know. I've been having weird dreams lately."

"Weird how?" Macy asked. "I can't explain it. Once I wake up, I can barely remember it." Aaron stood up and looked at the paper Clay was drawing on. "Maybe it has something to do with that drawing?" He asked. They looked at it and saw an eagle flying over a mountain range. "I don't know maybe." Clay honestly didn't even know what he was drawing, he just felt like drawing something.

Clay shook his head to clear it. "We should get back to studying then get to the Fortrex. We have magic and weapons training with Merlok." Everyone nodded in agreement and resumed their studying session but every now and then Clay looked at the mountain range and eagle he drew earlier. 'Why did I draw that and what does it mean?'

Later that afternoon, everyone went to the Fortrex and started training. Macy was practicing with her mace, Lance was practicing with his lance, Axl was practicing with his ax, Aaron was practicing with his bow and arrows, and Clay was practicing with his sword. "Excellent work, NEXO Knights. You're getting better and better with each passing day."

"Yeah, but will it be enough to stop Ruina Stoneheart? We barely beat her last time," Aaron said. "I know that if all of you work together as a team, then you will beat Ruina and her master," Merlok told him.

Clay was practicing on a dummy with his sword until he heard an eagle screech. He looked around and once again saw a giant blue eagle flying high in the sky. He watched it fly into a mountain range and disappear inside. "CLAY!" Clay shook his head and saw his friends along with Merlok, Ava, and Robin staring at him.

"What?" He asked. "You were staring off into space... again," Macy told him. "Sorry, I don't what been going on with me lately."

"Clay, are you sure you're okay? The others and myself were calling out to you when you stopped and started staring off into space. It was like you could see something that we couldn't. What did you see?" Merlok asked concerned. Clay thought to himself for a minute then he said, "I saw a giant blue eagle flying above me. It flew into a mountain range."
