"Thanks," you say, a bit flustered. You hand him your empty glass.

"My name is Carl, by the way," he says before going to the bar.

When he returns it's with your refilled glass and a drink of his own. You take a sip and the burning alcohol slides pleasantly down your throat. It doesn't take too long to finish the drink as you chat with Carl about your jobs, his dog, and the club.

"I can get you another one," Carl offers.

You shake your head. "I have to drive home later." The lights from the dance floor are beginning to give you a headache. "Actually I should probably get going now."

"I can bring you to your car, be there in case someone is waiting out there for a victim all by themselves."

This sounds like a good idea to you, so you agree and leave the club with Carl as your head continues to pound.

When you turn a corner at a dark place on the street and finally spot your car, Carl pins you to the nearest wall.

Your vision is hazy and suddenly you feel incredibly dizzy and your knees go weak. You try to fumble in your purse for any kind of weapon but your clumsy fingers hit the 'unlock' button on your key fob.

Carl isn't distracted by the flash of lights as your car comes unlocked. Instead he presses you harder against the wall with a hand on your mouth and growls, "About time that drug kicked in."

Panicked, you realize that there are very few options left to you.
