"Winnie! Good morning!"
Elowyn was putting on her shoes when she heard Mina pipe up.
She smiled at the older eleven-year-old. " Mina!" She greeted. Elowyn pointed at her shoes, "Could you help me tie my shoelaces?"
Mina laughed and tossed her black curls. She ruffled Elowyn's head and crouched down to tie her shoelaces.
" Yay!" Elowyn said, smiling. She hugged Mina. " Thanks!"
Mina ruffled her hair again and held out her hand. " Let's go for breakfast."
Elowyn took her hand and was led downstairs to the dining room. It was crowded with other kids.
" Good morning everyone!" Elowyn smiled.
" Good morning, Elowyn! And Happy birthday!"
" Yeah, Happy birthday!"
Elowyn smiled. She was officially six years old.
And it was a peaceful day at Grace field.

...
" Mama!" Elowyn greeted Isabella while she sat in her seat. The woman smiled at her.
" Good morning, my dear Winnie, how's your birthday so far?"
Elowyn kicked her legs in the air as her legs were too short to reach the ground. "Good! Everyone was nice to me!"
Isabella laughed. "Do you mean that they're not usually nice to you?"
Elowyn widened her eyes and shook her head. " No! I mean that they're especially nice to me!"
Isabella laughed again. "Don't worry, I know. Why don't I feed you since it's your birthday?"
Elowyn giggled. "Okay, Mama!"
After breakfast, the daily tests started.
Answer the questions under ten seconds.
What is the surface area of the cube?
Elowyn scanned her answer and went to the next few questions.

A couple minutes later, the tests were all done. The kids waited paitiently for Isabella to check the results.
" Mina!" Isabella said cheerfully. " You got 300, a perfect score again!"
Mina beamed and tossed her curls. Elowyn smiled.
" Elowyn, you improved again! 200 this time!" Isabella then said.
Elowyn giggled and clapped her hands. "That's a lot!"
An older boy, aged eight, complained, "This isn't fair! Mina I understand, but Winnie is on a whole different level since she's younger!"
Elowyn smiled at Ethan. " It's okay Ethan, I just want to play tag."
