You can enter your book or books in anyone of these mini categories so you can win smaller prizes. The reasons for entering in the mini categories could be you think your book isn't that long, you want a less harsh judging of your book, or just for fun.
You can enter a book into a main category, and into a mini category too if you want or you can not do that too.
An example of that could be lest say I enter my DemiElves of New York City into Crossovers main category and I want to put it into the Original Character Fanfic mini category. I could totally do that.
