Chapter 1

Garou POV

It's been close to about a month since that fight against that overpowered caped baldy as I do remember some of the things that has happened, I gotten possessed by this...Godlike being and controlled my body. But ever since that fight it transported me somewhere else and I legit have no idea where I was in the beginning.

This place certainly does look like the place where I grew up in but vastly different, for one there isn't no monsters or hero's. Which is honestly kinda boring but I guess this peaceful life is something I need to get used to.

Secondly they use a different type of cash instead of the ones I'm used to, so the very first day I arrived here I hunted around and ended up in the more...shady part of the city that I was in which was called Tokyo, Japan.

It really sucked since there was a goddam language barrier apparently and I've heard a few people speak in this language in my world but I mainly spoke English, thankfully I'm a quick learner but it's still confusing getting a grasp of a new language.

"Yo Garou you ready? I managed to get you your own apartment after this past week or so, you don't have to live in some hotel room." My employer asked me.

"Oh sure where is this place located?" I asked him.

"It's not too far from here I'll say...about 10 minutes by train or car ride and about 20 minutes if you walked there."

"I see so it's not that bad then."

"Yeah and I also have plans for you to get a phone but it's still in the works."

This guy next to me is named Soichi Hollowman he's a half Japanese and half Russian who moved here about 23 years ago, and he's in his early to mid 30's. Apparently this world has different countries and what not and not one big ass country like my old world.

From what he told me that I looked Russian mixed in with some German and japanese as well but I don't really see it, oh and he's also the person who I work for. He has his own moving company and underground business as well.

"So you still getting a grasp of the Japanese language? I'm sure you made good use of the books I gave to you when we first met."

"Meh I have done a bit of studying but it's so hard getting the grasp of a new language without a good tutor teaching you." I replied to him which is pretty much true.

"I'm not really good at teaching so you're on your own on that one."

"Yeah I figured as much."

Another thing we did the very first thing we did when we came here was register my name in Japan, with the help from him and a few individuals who work in the government we all managed to make me into an official citizen.

I've got my own Social Security number, passport pass and other necessary things to not be suspicious in this world. The last thing I need is a bunch of police and such trying to find my ass and that is annoying as it is.

"Oh yeah here you go this is last times payment I forgot to give it to you." As he handed me a small wad of cash.

I looked at it and it was 180,000 yen ($1,205.00 in U.S) I raised an eyebrow at it but shrugged it off, as long as it can get me food and other necessities then I'm fine. I'm not one to indulge myself in luxury, but maybe I will If I get a bit more cash.

"Be sure to use it wisely I'm not sure when there's gonna be...another job like the last one we did."

"Isn't the job that we currently do good enough?"
