Chapter 5

No One POV

Garou and Soichi are at the spot where the races happen as all he could see are a bunch of different cars, woman and other guys that's around his age as well all with their fancy looking cars. Of course Garou isn't really a car guy but does know his way around how to drive them and fix them if he has to.

"There's a lot more people here then I thought."

"It's around this time of year that lots of racers come here to race and bet against each other, hell even some foreigners as well."

"But isn't racing illegal here?"

"Yes it is illegal, that's why they do things mainly all the way here in the mountain side. But today they have gotten special permission from the police to race in this area."

"Hold on how the hell did they managed to do that?" Garou asked surprised at this.

"Well the friend I talked to you about is one of the sponsors of this event so him along with a few other friends of his had decided to rent this area out for the time being."

When he said that Garou was quite impressed as whoever this person Soichi is friends with must be loaded, as the first thing that came to mind was the rich people who sponsored the Hero Association and also lived there.

"Ah look there he is now, I'll go introduce you to him." Soichi said.

As they both approached a guy who seemed to be in the same age range as Soichi as he has dirty brown hair brown colored eyes and is wearing from what Garou could see is expensive clothing as well. He also stands at around 5'9 and is quite the good looking person, he's also surrounded by other rich looking people.

His name is Tyler Shax as he's a 33 year old who owns a really big architectural company and even engineering company as well, so it's safe to say that he's a multibillionaire as both him and his boss Soichi had shook hands.

"It's good to see you again old friend, how's Japan the last time I seen ya?" Tyler asked him.

"Oh it's fine I guess, still the same thing everyday but the very few illegal doings as well." Soichi replied to him.

"So is this the person you were talking about? He looks promising." He asked as he glanced at Garou.

"Yeah why don't you go ahead and introduce yourself kid."

"My name is Garou Silverfang it's nice to meet you." He introduced normally.

"Quite the interesting name, but the names Tyler Shax and I'm one of the sponsors of this here event. And I'm sure my friend here has informed you as to why you're here?"

"Yeah apparently you need a capable driver for this?"

"I would do it myself but I'm not much of a racer so that's why I asked Soichi here if he knew anybody, but as for pay....well I'll let you keep the car."

"Eh really? But what am I going to be racing in anyways?" Garou asked surprised and curious.

"This beauty right here, I've already made the modifications for this occasion."

Tyler had moved to a silver looking sports car from what Garou could tell as he seen a few of these before when he first arrived at this said place, meanwhile Soichi has whistles at the sight as he seems to know his car's quite well.

It's a 1998 Toyota Supra MK4 and it's modified for this drifting occasion, as Garou looked and seen 2 other cars as well. One who's a horse label on it and the other has a pair of wings.
