A/N: Apparently I'm more tired than I thought. I accidentally posted this on my Fanfiction ideas first.

So, I'm not quite sure if this is what you were looking for with your request and just tell me if it isn't! I enjoyed writing it and hope you enjoy it all the same! Oh, and I haven't written action for awhile, so I'm not quite sure how clear this is. :3 Anyways, here's your prize!

Oh, and I'm aware that Tsukiya's eyes and such are a bit un-genetic sort of thing, but Naruto isn't one of those animes where they play strict adherence to natural coloring, so I thought I was safe with this.

Kazue had to wonder, what exactly did Tsukiya think he would accomplish by staring down his brother. Not only did the young Asari lack even a sliver of intimidation factor, there was no doubt in her mind that when his brother would eventually question the matter the slightly mouseish boy would back down instantly. It confused her why he would even attempt the problem in the first place. Plus, as far as she was aware, Noriaki had a soft-spot for his younger sibling and probably would have given in without being stared down.

Predictably, the moment that Noriaki sighed, his little brother ducked his head slightly.

"I just really wanna go," he insisted.

Kazue simply watched as the siblings stared at each other for a moment longer. Tsukiya's arms slowly crossed over his chest and it was several minutes before Noriaki shrugged and turned away. Tsukiya's face lit up in an excited manner as he immediately scampered after the much more solidly built Noriaki. Shaking her head, an amused edge to her expression, Kazue calmly followed after the two of them.

Tsukiya, unlike his older brother, had a rather small form for an Asari. He stood a good head shorter with neatly trimmed, dishwater-blonde hair. Sure, at nine, this didn't really make him short for his age, just for his heritage. His eyes were a light, teal shade, contrasting from the usual bright blue. Kazue had often heard her aunt complain that Tsukiya had gotten too much from the late Naoki, the boys' small, green-eyed, and dark-haired father. His style, however, was all Noriaki. Tsukiya carried a small bokken strapped to his back, and was often found donning sleeveless shirts and using bandages as decoration on his arms and legs. Kazue, personally, found the mimicry of his older brother rather adorable.

The only difference she could pin-point between them was the scarf he wore on occasion wrapped about his neck. It was a silver colored thing with red stitching. From what she understood, it was a gift to his father from his father's mother around the time the siblings' parents were married.

As always seemed to happen when it was the three of them instead of the usual two, Kazue fell into silence as Tsukiya demanded his brother's attention through constant chattering. The conversation covered anything from their breakfast that morning to his recent experiences at school to how much one of their much more distant cousins annoyed him. When it reached the last part of the conversation, Kazue had to do her best to hide her amusement. Tsukiya, while not as bad as she was, had a dulled sense of pain. Meaning, he could hold his hand on a stove for a full minute or so before he would realize that it hurt. As such, while they weren't as completely thrown together as her and Noriaki had been, there was a cousin who had decided it was her business to make sure that the boy didn't get himself too horribly hurt.

"And that's when she informed everyone that if we were going to spar, she had to be there to watch! That's not fair, right? Right?" Tsukiya complained. "Everyone looked like they wanted to sta- Kazue-chan, don't do that! It's not funny!"
