It was the first day off school and to say the least Faith got lost making her late to her first class which went smoothly. It was now after second period and all students were allowed to go to their lockers. As Faith was putting up some of her books and some out, someone shoved her right into the lockers next her and walk away before Faith knew it she let out a growl. She turn to see it was a girl with black/blue hair with a few golden streaks as she went up and started talking to Deuce.
As Faith was watching them she couldn't help but feel a little bit of jealously which was weird to her. She barley knew Deuce, she just met him yesterday. How could she be jealous? She couldn't help but listen in on their conversation and she wasn't really shock to find out that they dated and she broke up with him, what a fucking idiot. Faith closed her locker and began walking away to her next class.
"Hey, wait up" she heard a voice say then felt someone's hand on her shoulder. She look to see it was Deuce.
"Deuce. Hi" she said with a smile
"Hey" he said smiling back "Can I walk you to your class?" he ask which she nod. As the two walk along with one another their hands kept brushing against one another. When a struck of courage hit Deuce he reach for her hand but stop when she stop in front of a classroom which happen to be his class too.
"This my class too" he told her
"Well than lucky me" she said sending him a wink
"No, more like lucky me" he said and gestured her inside the classroom "Lady's first" he add
"Why thank you kind sir" she teased with a giggle. When he heard that little giggle it was angelic to him, he needed to hear more of it and he wanted to be the only person to get her to make that beautiful sound. Deuce was hoping Faith would sit next him, and she was but before she could calm the seat next to Deuce a guy with orange skin and fire hair took the seat. Also known as Heath, Deuce best friend since forever. Faith saw a frown appear on Deuce face but she sent him a smile and took a seat next to Clawdeen which so happen to be across for Deuce's desk.
"Hey, Faith" Clawdeen said
"Hi, Clawdeen. How's your first day going so far?" Faith ask just making a little bit of small talk as they waited for the teacher to show up. As the two girls were talking and laughing, Deuce and Heath were also having a conversation too.
"I wanted her here, next to me" Deuce said
"Huh...how was I suppose to know that?" Heath questioned
"She was literally placing her things on the desk" Deuce told him
"Okay, I can try to get her to come over and switch" he said to his best friend, Deuce and him were dorm mates and last night, Deuce was telling Heath all about how he met the most beautiful girl he has ever met. Even told Heath how he felt in just one moment with her. Deuce look over to see Faith was in engaged in a conversation
"No, it's alright. We'll sit together tomorrow or if we have a next class together" he said patting Heath shoulder
"Good Morning class. I'm Mr.Komos, your history teacher" he said "I want to get started on your knowledge about other monsters and their history even Monster High it's self. So, let's start with when was Monster High built?" he ask. Frankie was the only person in the class to raise her hand just as Mr.Komos call on her she answer right away "Alright, let's get into some monsters. Now there are so many and so many different kinds of just the same creature so I want someone to shout a out of one" he add
"Werewolf's" Frankie said and sent a smile to Clawdeen
"Or how about vampires" Draclaura said
"Why not both" Faith said
"I like that, Faith. Today we will talk about both of the them. Who here can tell me how many different kinds of werewolf's are there?" Mr.Komos ask and it was again Frankie who raised their hand "Yes, Frankie" Mr.Komos called on
"There are 4 kinds" Frankie said
"That's correct. And what makes them different from one another?" Mr.Komos ask and again it was only Frankie who raised their hand "Frankie I'm going to assume that you know all the answers" he add getting a nod from her
"Yes. One kind can be just born. The other can be born or bitten and they have to learn more control for the full moon and to the emotions since it's more heighten now. Another one is the same where you can only be born but they don't call themselves werewolf's but wolfblood, their kind don't think of themselves as monsters. The last one are the curse ones but that kind I don't really know about" Frankie said
"That's okay. You are correct on them all. Can anyone tell me about the last kind?" Mr.Komos ask and this time it was Faith who raise her hand "Yes, Faith" he called on
"Their cursed because of a witch created them" she said. The faces around the room all had confused looks.
"I'm sorry?" Mr.Komos questioned
Um...Inadu better known as the Hallow was a very powerful Native American witch. Before her death or should say before she was kill for reasons, she created a curse at her last moments and that was creating werewolf's to a cruse. In order for them to break the curse to trigger their wolf side. They have to take an innocent life. A human life." Faith said. Remembering what her and Hope did, they never met to kill those two not even knowing they were there. "But it doesn't matter. If it was an accident or not, the blood is still your hands" she add
"Um...yes, that's...um correct. That's correct, Faith. There is one another thing that makes these wolf's different from the rest and that is their transformation but doesn't anyone here know how it happens?" Mr.Komos ask and it was Faith that raise her hand "Anyone but Faith or Frankie" he said getting some chuckles but no one else raise their hands, he look at Faith and told her to go head.
"On the night of the full moon they break every bone in their body but it's slow and a painful process and have to deal with that every full moon for hours in pain. But if they have royal blood running through their veins, they can turn at free will at anytime, but of course if it's their first turn they don't have much choice in that matter" Faith said. Remembering her first time with Hope with their father by their side, it had just happen after the death of their mother.
"Very well done, Faith" Mr.Komos said "Now, as I said there are lots of different types of monsters nearly a over a hundred, some even being half like Edward Hyde. Half-human and half-monster" he add. Clawdeen raise her hand ask who he was, Faith was too. Mr.Komos explained to the whole class on who he was being the only person in the world that they knew of that was half-human and half-monster. Then he went in and told humans hated monster, but the in Faith's and Clawdeen's eyes that wasn't true. Maybe some were scared of the monster's but in the girl's heart they knew that not all humans were bad.
"Now as of the next topic which is vampires. Let's start with on how they were created?" Mr.Komos ask. Frankie raised her hand and waited to be called on
"Which kind?" she ask once she was
"Let's start with the cold ones" Mr.Komos said. Heath raised his hand wanting to ask a question
"Yes, Heath" Mr.Komos called
"How many vampires are there?" he ask
"3 kinds. Cold ones, your regular vampires you see here than last but not least blood eye vampires or also known as nightwalkers" he said
"Nightwalkers?" Clawdeen ask
"Thier vampires that burn in the sun and it can kill them if they don't get to safety in time" Faith said earning some attention from her classmates
"This gives me an idea on your first assignment. I want you guys to write an report or an essay if you will. On any monster that you find fascinating, write about their weakness, their strength, their whole history etc.... The essay will be due next week" Mr.Komos said
