Hi, I'm Rose Jones.
My sister Scarlet told her story about her and Jeff the Killer. Now it's time for my story with Jeff's brother Liu.
I was born with a white streak of hair. Everyone had called me a freak. The only person who made me feel calm was my sister Scarlet. One day in high school, there was a new student in my class. "Class, this is Liu. He just moves here and I want you to make him feel welcome." Liu took a seat next to me. "Hi, I'm Liu. What's your name?" "I'm Rose." I turned my face away hoping that he won't say anything about my white hair.
After class, the teacher told me to give Liu a tour around the school. I couldn't say no. I showed Liu around the campus. We were outside the school garden when Liu told me something. "You're hair is beautiful Rose." I was surprised to hear him say that. No had complimented my hair before. "You really think so?" "Yea, it makes you special." "But everyone always makes fun of me for it." "That just don't understand you." "Do you really mean that?" "Yea, I do." Liu and I became friends that day, the same went for my sister Scarlet and Liu's brother Jeff.
Scarlet and I couldn't get our minds off the Woods brothers. Sometimes I would tease Scarlet for having a crush on Jeff. I was also developing a crush on Liu. Sometimes I would go to Liu's house and his parents kept asking me about my white hair. "When did you dye your hair?" "Actually, I was born with it." I continued to hang out with Liu and eventually, we kinda started a relationship. "No way! You and Liu are a couple now?!" "Maybe you should do the same thing with Jeff." "Rose!" I continue to stent time with Liu whenever I can. "Rose, you're the greatest thing cents I moved here." "Why did you moved here?" "My dad got a new job, but my brother didn't like it." "He didn't take it well?" "He has his issues, but he seems to like your sister." "Scarlet? I think she has a crush on him." "I could say the same thing about him." We laughed about our siblings having a crush on each other.
One day at school, Liu seemed to be a little off edge. "Hey, is everything okay?" "Oh, it's nothing Rose." But I can tell something is bothering him. After school, we heard police cars outside at the Liu and Jeff's house! Me and Scarlet ran out to that Liu was getting arrested! I ran to Liu as the police were arresting him. "Liu! What happened?!" "I'm sorry Rose, I'm doing this for Jeff." And with that, they took Liu away! I was in shock while Scarlet was comforting Jeff. I asked Liu's parents what was going on. "Liu had attacked a bunch of students before school." "What?! No! He won't..." "He confessed himself with the knife in his hand." "No! It couldn't be!" I was devastated and locked myself in my room. Scarlet came to check on me. "Jeff told me what happened." It turns out that some school bullies had attacked them and Jeff was the one who attacked them. "Why did Liu say he done it?" "He was trying to protect Jeff. He was just looking out for his brother." Liu did say it was for Jeff, so it made sense. "How can we clear Liu's name?!" "I don't know, but I have to help Jeff."
Without Liu, I feel the same insecurity about my hair before I met him. At school I felt the same feeling all over again. Weeks later I Liu was back at school! I ran to hug him, but he looked sad. "It's Jeff, he's in the hospital!" It turned out the bullies that attacked him and Jeff had try to get revenge on Jeff and they had set him in flames. Scarlet had told me everything that had happened. While we were at the hospital, Liu was devastated. "This is all my fault! I never should have taken the blame for him!" "It's not your fault Liu, you were just trying to protect him." "But I failed! Now what has happened to him!" I tried my best to comfort Liu while Scarlet was with Jeff in his room.
When we got home, I went to check on Scarlet. "Are you okay sis?" "It's all my fault Rose! I was there went Jeff got hurt! I should've tried harder to save him!" "Scarlet, you can't blame yourself for what happened. With us leaving out of town in a few days, I'll never get to tell him what I feel about him!" "I bet Jeff knows exactly how you felt about him." "Really?" "Yes, I'm sure he'll recover when we come home." "You're the best sis." Before we left out of town, Liu told me he will give me news about Jeff so I can tell Scarlet. A week went by and Liu called me and told me that Jeff was out of his coma and will come home when we get back! I told Scarlet and she was so happy! When we got home, we wanted to see Jeff and Liu, but we had to see them in the morning. Before I went back, Liu told me that Jeff looked a little different after the bandage was removed. I held on to that and went home.
That night,we saw police officers and ambulances at the Woods house! Scarlet and I ran to see what happened! "What's going on?!" "There was a murder in here." Liu's parents were killed. I was worried about Liu. " Fortunately, one of them survived." I saw Liu on the stretcher being taken into the ambulance. "Liu! What happened?!" Before Liu could respond, he passed out. "We have to take him to the hospital now." As Liu was taken into the ambulance, Scarlet asked about Jeff. "He was the criminal." "What?!" We couldn't believe what we heard. Jeff had turned into a psychopath. I was mad at what he did to Liu.
I stayed by Liu's side when he was taken to the hospital. He had multiple surgeries, multiple transplants, and multiple stitches. He was in a coma. I never left his side. For months I waited for him to wake up, but he was still in a coma. I kept hearing more stories about Jeff murdering a lot more people. I was full of rage for what he did to his brother! One day when I went to visit Liu, he was gone! The hospital staff had no idea what happened. I had a feeling it was Jeff.
It had been months since Liu had disappeared. Scarlet and I had gotten into a huge argument about Jeff. "HE ALMOST KILLED LIU! HOW COULD YOU STILL THINK ABOUT HIM?!" "You don't know what he's going through." "HOW WOULD YOU KNOW?! LIU HAS BEEN MISSING FOR MONTHS EVER SINCE JEFF KILLED MORE PEOPLE!" "How do you know he's the reason for Liu's disappearance?!" "IT DOSEN'T MATTER! HE'S NOT THE SAME PERSON ANYMORE SCARLET! IT'S TIME TO MOVE ON!" I haven't talked to Scarlet since that day. I swear if Jeff lead a hand on her, I will lose it!
One day, as I was walking down a alley way, some gang of men grabbed me on the arm. "Hey there babe. What brings you out here?" "Let me go! Now!" "Come on babe, don't you want to have some fun?" "Leave me alone!" They wouldn't listen to me. I didn't know what was gonna happen. "Hey! Leave her alone!" Suddenly, there was someone in front of the alley way. He looked like someone my age. "Listen kid, why don't you just mind your own business." "I said, leave...her...ALONE!" The boy attacked the men and they ran away. I couldn't believe what just happened. "Are you okay Rose?" "Yea but, wait...how did you know my name?" I looked at the boy's face and it was Liu! "Liu? Is that you?" I couldn't believe it was him. "Liu you're alive!" I went to hug him but he pushed me away. "Liu? Why are acting this way?" Liu was like a new person. "Sorry, that was my other personality." It turned out that Liu now as split personality disorder. "I woke up with it after Jeff attacked me." "I couldn't believe he did this to you!" "I know, I became a homicidal because of it." "Liu what are you saying?" "I know Jeff has become a killer, but I forgive him." "What?! How could you after all he did?!" "I know, but he's my brother. He has his issues. So for that, I forgive him." My anger for Jeff had washed away into guilt. "Liu, I'm sorry. I've been so mad all these months about everything that happened with you and Jeff..." "It's ok Rose." "Why did you disappeared from the hospital?" "When I woke up, I heard a nurse called my brother a demon and I stabbed her with a scalpel. I didn't want to get caught, so I ran away." I couldn't believe my ears. "Liu, you had no idea how I missed you." "I missed you too Rose. Almost as I miss Jeff. Can you help me find him?" "I think I have an idea where he could be." We went to the dorm room where Scarlet was staying at. When she opened the door, she was surprised to see me. "Rose, what are you doing here?" "Is Jeff there?" "Wait?! Look if you're trying to get revenge..." "Look, I'm sorry for what I said. But I'm trying to help Liu." Scarlet saw Liu with the stitches and was surprised and turned to someone else in the room, it was Jeff. "Liu?!" "Jeff?!" The two brothers ran and hugged each other. "Liu, I'm so sorry!" "It's okay Jeff, no matter what you're always be my little brother." "I'm not so little anymore!" We all laughed like it was old times.
Now, Liu and I are in a stronger relationship. I did find out that Scarlet and Jeff are in a relationship. I approved my sister's feelings for Jeff and we forgive each other about the agreement. Sometimes I would find Liu having insecurities about his stitches. "I don't know Rose, I look ugly now with my stitches." "Liu, you are beautiful. Just like old times." "Are you sure Rose?" "Of course, you made me feel comfortable with my hair and I'll make you comfortable with your face." "Thank you Rose." Liu then pulled out a rose and gave it to me. "It reminds me of you Rose, so I picked one for you." "Liu, you're the best." And with that, we had our long awaited kiss.
