Hi, I'm Chloe Stone.

My sister Ava and I are big fans of Pokémon. And we have our own story involved with two Pokémon boys.

Ever since I can remember, I've been a huge fan of Pokémon. My favorite Pokémon is Pikachu. I even got some yellow streaks in my hair. I even had a Pokémon trainer inspired look. Ava and I would play Pokémon games every single day. "What's your favorite Pokémon Ava?" "Jiggly Puff." "That explains why you'd dyed your hair pink." We would play every version of Pokémon games. One day I found an old Pokémon game called "Pokémon Red" I've never heard of that game, but I dictated to play it.

While I was playing the game, there was some glitches happening. A text popped up saying "Who created me?" I thought that was weird, but I shrugged it off. I'd continued playing and the game was still glitching. Another text showed up saying "Nice try Red." What's going on with this game?!

Over the next few days, I've been playing Pokémon Red to get to the bottom of what causes all the glitches. I got another text, this time it said, "This isn't where I'm from, I've been tricked." What dose that mean? Been tricked? So I contacted. Anytime I tried to move in the game, a text saying "No" would show up. I feel like I'm going crazy. "Why is this happening?!"

I decided to take a break from the game. All those texts from the game were giving me a headache. I told Ava about it. "Something like that was happening when I was playing Pokémon Silver." "Maybe that's why it was abandoned." I went back playing the game to end this once and for all. Suddenly, a text popped up saying "Everything that happened to me happened because the world let it happened to me. I didn't became a hero on my own. I was manipulated. I'd never unlocked that door. The door was unlocked because the game let me in. Everything you do the game lets you." I couldn't help but cry. I'd never knew video game characters would feel like they were being controlled without will. I feel sorry for the player in the game.

"I'm sorry." I said to my DS. Another text had spawned. "You're staying here with me, they replaced me because I was glitched and not good enough. I thought this was my story, but I'm just a character in a video game. They took everything from me. My voice, my freedom, my legacy." My heart was filled with sadness for the character. He probably feels like whoever is playing is like a control freak. A final text showed up saying "Am I a joke to you?" There were two choices, yes or no. I was confused of what will happen when I choose one of the answers. I feel like I should choose no, so I did. But then text changed "Then why do you do all those things to me? Why do you corrupt my world and show me glitches that aren't meant to be? Why do you want to hurt me?" Letting sad feelings out, I said what I think might help "I would never hurt you." Thinking nothing would happen, another text popped up. "Why did I have to die? Just because I am a hero?" It just hit me, he's dead! He must be haunting the game. That must be why it's so glitchy.

It was late, I had to go to bed. I decided to sleep with my DS. I'd cry in my sleep thinking of all the sad texts from Red. Without know, I said something in my sleep. "Red, I would never ever hurt you." In the middle of the night, I felt something touch me. It felt like a hand. I heard a voice whisper to me that sounded like a boy. "Thank you Chloe." I woke up to see a boy with black hair dressed in red. He looked like the Pokémon player. It's Red. He had tears in his eyes. "I saw and heard your sadness for me. No other player had compassion for me." My heart filled with tears of joy. "Wait, how did you know my name?" "I heard it so many times when you'd played. Thank you for caring about me." Without thinking, I ended up kissing him. We both pulled away blushing.

Anyway, that's my story. You can go read Ava's story now.
