Taking in deep breaths and slowly exhaling, Ari puts all his hand pressure on his stress balls.

"Okay, real talk. I need your help" Summer says as she walks to the boys' locker room. "Oh. Sorry, didn't mean to interrupt your ball squeezing" Summer apologized. "No, it's just some exercise from the therapist" Ari waved her off. "Cool, you're still seeing him?" Summer smiled. He nods.

"You look really good, by the way," Summer smiled at the shirtless boy.

Ari tilts his head to the side a bit and pulls his pulled his eyebrows together briefly. "I mean, you, um... you seem good" Summer said. "I am" Ari tells her. Summer laughed and smiled at him. "You needed help with something" Ari says.

"Right, sorry" Summer returned to her topic; "So, the dumb-dumb selectors rejected my application".

"And I'm thinking, if you could just distract the official for, like, 10 seconds" Summer began to explain her plan. "I could sneak down to the take-off during a heat, jump in the pool, and, boom, take my shot" She finished. "No" Ari said as his once happy expression shifted. "No?" Summer questions.

"Mate, how'd you go?" Ari questions Bax Radic as he walks into the room. "Yeah..." Bax says as he places his fist on Ari's chest and then leaves his side to change out of his wetsuit. Ari turned back to Summer and brought his voice down, stepping a bit closer to her.

"Listen, just so we're clear, you're asking me to risk disqualification to get you in the water?" Ari questioned.

"There you are, Summer, finally!" Pandora ran into the room, with a paper covered dill pickle in hand; "These pickles are the best, you want a bite?".

"I broke the rules for you," Summer says to Ari. "Remember? A year ago I got you on that ferry and you made your final" Summer reminded the dirty blonde with a smile. "Yeah, remember?" Pandora says, sarcastically, hitting Ari's bare chest with the back of her hand. "Help a girl out" She said. "Who even are you?" Ari asked, finally acknowledging her.

"Pandora. Pandora Falstar" Pandora says, followed by a smile.

"It's horrible— nice! It's- It's horribly nice to meet you" Pandora held out her hand for Ari to shake. He glanced at her hand with a judgeful look on his face. Pandora noticed the look and dropped her hand back to her side. "Air, right?" She questioned causing Summer to look up at her. "Ari." The dirty blonde corrected her.

"Okay, Air" Pandora nods.

"Never mind her," Sunner said. "Are you helping me out or not?" She asked. "Summer, it's so cool that you're still surfing. Really, it is" Ari says. "But this is the last year that we can go to Nationals" He added. "It's the big leagues and I'm an actual chance" Ari gave her a soft smile. Pandora's face scrunched up at the sentence and she rolled her eyes.

Ari touched both sides of Summer's arms and smiled; "I'm really glad you're back".

Summer nods and Ari leaves the room. Summer sighed as asking Ari for help was her only plan. She turned her head towards Pandora with a look. "What was that?" Summer asked. "What was what?" Pandora questions. "You were being super weird just now" Summer points out. Pandora gasped and said; "Was I really?".
