It's the first day of year 10 and
Charlie is forced to walk down the one place he hates. The hallway. Honestly, it feels like he's in a horror movie. People whisper homophobic stuff as Charlie's walking down the hallway with his head down.All he can hear is;
"So gross!" "Charlie Spring is disgusting" The voices getting louder... and louder... and louder. "imagine being gay in an all-boys school" "he's such a fag" But what can he do? It's not like he can stop it. He has no control.Charlie's an outed gay boy. He doesn't exactly know how he got outed, but he had no control over it. It sort of just happened. You know when you're on a slide at the playground and you ask someone to push you down the slide, but ding, ding! Before you're even ready they push you down and you can't go back it sort of just happens, so you end up getting hurt. That's how Charlie felt.
Charlie entered the form room and went up to the form teacher, Mr. Lange so he could get his new assigned seat.
"Why hello there Charlie Spring!" He greets Charlie, with a warm soft smile. The same smile that all teachers probably have.
"Hi, sir..." Charlie smiles back shyly, just standing in front of the desk awkwardly.
"Let's see, where did I put you on the seating chart?" He says as he scrambles through all his papers. He's probably the most disorganized teacher Charlie's ever seen. Finally, he found what he was looking for. That's when Charlie started to panic.
'I swear the god if I get sat by any of the rugby guys I'm literally going to-', but then Charlie's thoughts get shortened.
"Ah! You're sitting next to Nicholas Nelson!" Mr. Lange said. Of course, he gets jinxed.
'Kill myself... NICK NELSON?!' Charlie completes his thoughts.
Nick Nelson is in year 11, he's worse than just a rugby player he's known as the "the rugby king." it's a bit silly to be honest. Charliehate rugby people because their mainly the ones who bullied him pretty badly. Now that he think's of it Nick never bullied him, he just didn't do anything to stop it. Nick is often compared to a golden retriever which he can definitely understand. Charlie's never seen anything like this. Charlie think's he's pretty hot, but that must just be his opinion.
Charlie sort of rolls his eyes then starts to walk over there, he sees Nick working on his schoolwork. 'Is my brain acting weird or is the sunlight shining towards his face.', Charlie wondered.
'But I've never seen so many beautiful features before.', Charlie thought. He just stopped walking, and started staring at him. He knows it's weird to crush on someone considering he has a boyfriend already.
Charlie's dating this guy called Ben Hope, it started when Ben just came one day while He was practicing my drums and then he kissed him. Ben's okay but they don't really hangout or talk inside or outside of school. Now that he thinks about it they only ever make out in secret.
The golden retriever or so-called Nick looks up at Charlie and he just smiles, Charlie's heart stopped. 'How could I be mad at him for all I know maybe he's different maybe he's not like the people who use to bully me.' Charlie thought, denying.
Charlie walks over to his seat setting his bag down then he looks at Nick. 'I don't know what's happening but for some reason I can't stop smiling.', Charlie wondered confused.
