It really was her. She looked the same as always-blonde hair tied into low pigtails, a green haori over a grey kimono. The only thing that was different about her was that the One Hundred Healings Mark that was usually on her forehead was gone.

A wave of nostalgia hit Hanako as she remembered the times she had spent with her mentor in Konohagakure.

Tsunade sama smiled at her, that motherly smile that made her feel warm inside.

The spectators roared at the possibility, shaking Hanako out of her trance.

Hanako didn't kmow who Edgeshot was, but she didn't care.

" I missed you," she said quietly. It was true. Tsunade sama was the one to teach her medical jutsu, making her feel worth something. The need to save someone.

Tsunade sama's expression softened. "I've missed you longer. I had died of natural causes, while you..."

Hanako bit her lip. Surprisingly, the cause of her death had hardly crossed her mind, but now she remembered.
