"So, you saved a life."
Jungwon glances up at the male counselling psychologist. "I didn't save her, I carried her."
"You also sacrificed your warmth and comfortability for her, a person you barely know. Most wouldn't do that, especially if a nurse was there. You found a way to calmly give her warmth as you brought her into emergency."
"What if I'm a pervert."
"The fact that you'd rather be labeled as a pervert than someone who cares about her is... crazy to me but anyways..."
"Why are you telling me this?" Jungwon questions, confused on how that mattered in the current situation. "It happened yesterday, have you seen her since?" He asks the younger male, a soft smile on his lips as the sun shunned down in his direction. "No..she's still in ER." Jungwon comments, looking down at his hands as they fiddled with his sleeve.
"Have you thought about her since then?"
The boy didn't answer. "Jungwon, why did you help her?" Sunghoon asks, his eyebrows furrowing slightly as he fixes the thin blue light glasses that sat on his nose. "Because I owed her."
"You know thats not true Jungwon. I bet you didn't even think of that before."
"I did."
"No you didn't."
"I did!"
Sunghoon stares at the male that had raised his voice. "Tell me Jungwon, when did you realise Aera was in danger?" Sunghoon asks, leaning back slightly in his chair. "When nurse Kim told me she had leukaemia and couldn't stay in the cold." Jungwon replies calmly.
"And when did Nurse Kim tell you that?"
"At the rooftop."
"Then you didn't save her because she owed you."
"How would you know that huh? I know my own thoughts, if I said I did, I did."
Sunghoon remains calm at the now slightly agitated patient. "If you did Mr Yang, it meant you would've known she was in danger when nurse Kim visited. You had claimed you didn't, but out of concern you went up and followed the nurse."
"What on earth does that mean?" Jungwon scoffs, confused on what he was trying to say. "Your concern for the girl started before you knew she was in danger Mr Yang. It started before you could even think of owing her back."
"Well I knew she was in danger before."
"You just said you only realised the girl was in danger when you saw her laying on the cold floor."
Jungwon doesn't respond to the attack. "How is this important anyways, why do you need to know?" Jungwon questions, firing back at the older and more experienced male. "I need to know if you saved her out of instinct, or guilt." Sunghoon answers the question directly. "Guilt? Why would I save her out of guilt? I've never done anything to her thats made me feel guilty." Jungwon frowns at the psychologist, thinking the male was as dumb and stubborn as a rock.
