Disclaimer: Idk too much abt leukaemia, and idk much abt it's treatment outside of the hospital. This is more focused on the relationship of the two main characters rather than the specifics of her sickness. More how she deals with it, and how they approach living with it.

"Oh, Jungwon."

Jungwon's head whips towards the sound of her voice. "Aera? Why are you here?" The boy asks, wondering why the girl was here at the convenience store. "Oh, I was craving some Icecream so.."

"Icecream?"

The boy looks at her as if she's crazy.

"It's freezing outside." Only then he realises what she was wearing. "Don't tell me that's all you wore." He comments, seeing the thin jumper and sweatpants she wore. "Yeah why?"

The boy shakes his head and takes the icecream from her hand, bringing it to the counter.

"I can pay for the-.

"Thank you." The cashier smiles as he hands the bag of milk and icecream to Jungwon, the man passing it to Aera.

"Oh so you pay and I hold that works-."

The girl is cut off by Jungwon taking his jacket off, placing it on the girls shoulders and making her put her arms in.

Just like he did at the wedding.

"Oh I'm fine-."

She's cut off once again when the boy takes his scarf off and wraps it around the girl, at some point covering her face.

"I can't see." She mumbles, pulling down the scarf.

Aera's eyes suddenly widens when being met with the boys neck so close to her, realising he stood right in front of her as he reached somewhere behind her.

Only when feeling a small weight on her head is when she realises he placed the hood of the jacket on her, her eyes drifting down as she watches him zip up the large jacket.

"Are you not cold?"

"Haven't we had this conversation before?" He questions, taking his gloves off and taking the bag from her, pushing it up his arm so he can take her hands himself and place his gloves on them.

"I know how to dress myself..." she mumbles.

"Are you sure?" He comments back, sighing at the stupidity of the girl. The boy doesn't understand how the girl could be so careless when a degree too cold could hospitalise her. "I drove here so come back with me."

The second the two get to Jungwon's car, Aera's face lights ups immediately.

"It's snowing!"

The girl runs towards the footpath, spinning around in the snow. "I love the snow oh my this must be the last snow until the end of the year!"
