The last week since the twins were born, and Sigyn was over the moon. Although in that week, the heretic has only slept at least twenty hours at most.

It wasn't because of the babies, it was because of her racing thoughts. That fear of failing her children came to the surface once again, along with the paranoia.

She's afraid that someone may take her babies while her and her mates are asleep, or that one of her many enemies might find her and kill her family. Sigyn hardly left the nursery, she either held the twins while in the rocking chair or would sit and watch them sleep in their cribs.

Her mates and best friends knew of her fears, and so they grew worried that she may let it rule over her life.

But aside from all of that, the Mikaelson's plus Enzo and Damon's lives have drastically changed. For the better of course.

Elijah and Finn have been the greatest fathers, and they for once felt revived and alive. Rebekah was the best aunt and very helpful when needed, and she adored the littlest Mikaelson's.

Klaus had made Henrik and Helga their very own wooden toys, which the babies loved. Kol was infatuated with the twins, he was never really a fan of babies but he adored them. Damon did as promised and was the greatest uncle, and he would never say it out loud but he was sure that he was the favourite uncle.

Sigyn was once again in the nursery, feeding Helga while Elijah sat beside her feeding Henrik. The heretic couldn't take her eyes off her little girl.

The little girl had a head full of light blonde hair which she got from her mother, while she had Finn's beautiful hazel-green eyes. All though Henrik was an exact replica of Elijah, with the brown hair and oak brown eyes.

"How is he going over there?" Sigyn asked softly, glancing over at her mate and son. For once Elijah wasn't in a suit, and was dressed in a simple grey shirt with black track pants.

"He's certainly a hungry little man. What about the littlest Valkyrie?" The man chuckled, grazing his fingers over Henrik's chubby cheeks.

"She finished a while ago, now she's just looking around in wonder" Sigyn answered, smiling gently at her daughter who was glancing all around the room. The heretic turned back to Elijah and Henrik, her eyes filled with joy watching the two.

"You're such a natural, Elskede. You were definitely made to be a father" The woman stated, making Elijah look to her with tear filled eyes but they beamed with pride and love.

"You have no idea how much it means to me to hear that, Elskan. Truly. I'm still on cloud nine, even a week after their birth" Sigyn smiled, reaching her hand out and took his large hand into hers.

"Creating life can do that to someone. I remember when I gave birth to my first son. The labour was horrible especially in the nineth century, but once I got to hold him it was like I was on a whole other planet. My heart was soaring and was filled with a new kind of joy that I could never fully explain properly. And that feeling will never go away" Elijah watched his mate in awe, as he hung onto every word.

"Well I never want this feeling to go away. It's better than anything I've ever felt before" The noble vampire expressed, as he leant down to place a kiss upon his sons head.

Their calm silence was disturbed by a knock on the door, making the two look up to see Finn leaning against the doorway with a loving smile on his face.

"Look little one, it's your papa" Sigyn cooed, moving Helga in her arms so that she could face her father. Finn beamed with happiness, as his daughter cooed at him and showed him a gummy smile.
