The next day felt like a long one, pearl and her father did not exchange words the whole morning. Almost avoiding each other. Well pearl was and hoping that Barbossa wouldn't notice. With her purposefully sleeping in so that she wouldn't have to eat breakfast with him and also forgetting lunch. Barbossa kept to his normal duties of ordering around his crew like brainless scum dogs. Pearl was still wondering about jack but knew better than to go down the brig again in fear of what her father would do. She actually made an effort to stay away from the stairs that led down to the lower decks of the ships. The crew noticed how Barbossa was harsher today giving more firm, diabolical orders while pearl didn't give any mostly keeping to herself. Her two friends Ragetti and Pintel noticed she wasn't her normal humour-filled self. At around 1pm they decided to ask about it. "Hey uhm pearl we was wondering why you haven't asked the crew to do much today." Pintel asked holding his hat to his chest. Pearl turned away from facing the sea and jumped down from the railing. "You...want me to tell you to do things?" pearl asked confused. "Orders more likes it." Pintel said. Pearl struggled for words. "uh-...eh scrub the deck..." she said with no motivation. "Could you do it... well like you did yesterday?" Ragetti asked. Pearl sighed. "let me get this straight you want me to yell at you and give you orders and run around the ship like I own the place." Pearl asked. "Strut." Ragetti added, before getting smacked over the head by Pentil. Ragetti scrambled to the floor as his wooden eye had gotten knocked out again. Barbossa watched the scene from the stern, hand on wheel. "Ragetti, lose that eye one more time and it wont be the only thing you will be losing!" he yelled, annoyed that Ragetti had lost his eye for the 8th time this week. "Aye captain!" he yelled back standing up with his eye in hand. Barbossa rolled his eyes and returned his gaze to the sea. "look you guys are my friends and as much as I love ordering you around and watching you scramble around I got to say this is embarrassing. I mean coming to the first mate for orders to be barked at them." Pearl said sarcastically. "well the real reason we came over here is because we've noticed you've not been yourself lately." Pintel said sounding a touch concerned. "how do you mean?" pearl asked. "well..." pintel started. "you've been moping." Ragetti cut in. pintel hit him over the head again. "are you daft you don't say that to the first mate." He said before offering pearl a pleading smile. Ragetti scrambled to the floor again for his eye. "RAGETTI!!!" barbossa roared fast walking over to them. Barbossa picked up the eye and turned to face ragetti and slammed it into his head than slapping him lightly across the face twice. He than gave him a stern look with a low growl. With that pintel and ragetti both scrambled away. He than turned to face pearl. "I wanted to-"just as Barbossa started to speak a crew member yelled. "Ship starboard!" pearl and Barbossa snapped their heads around to see. Pearls mouth grew wide at the sight of a ship emerging from the water. She had heard stories about this boat. 'The flying dutchmen.' Captained by a heartless man made from only hate and rage. "Battle stations you dried up cockroaches!" Barbossa ordered as the men ran to there stations. Pearl ran to the ropes climbing up them to get a better view of the whole ship. Barbossa was at the wheel still ordering his men. "Ready the canons!" pearl yelled. The dutchmen was now right next to there ship and they had thrown ropes over to the black pearl. "Father there boarding!" Pearl yelled as she slid down the ropes. In just moments the ship was invaded by men who were mutated into sea creatures. The crew felt surrounded all being pushed into the middle of their ship, swords at the ready. The ship went silent as a loud thumping walking sound started. They all turned to see the one and only Davy jones in the flesh. "Captain Barbossa." He said in a slithery voice. "Aye." Barbossa said walking out from the squashed pirates. "I heard you had sparrow onboard; I would like to discuss with you the debt he has to settle." He said walking up to Barbossa to be face to face with him. "I see, how about we discuss this matter over a dinner, away from me crew and yours?" Barbossa offered with a small smile. "Agreed." He said before turning to his first mate. "no one gets on or off this ship." He said in a steel voice. Pearl than stepped forward awaiting her orders. Davy looked confused for a moment at only a child being the second in charge. "Orders captain?" she said with no fear staring right at Davy, even though deep down she was maybe a touch scared. "Tell the crew to stay alert and have there be extra guards put around sparrows' cell." He said without turning to her. "Aye." She said before standing before the crew. "You heard him!" she yelled. "Stay alert you swamp dogs and put more guards in the brig with the washed-up man called sparrow." With that the crew scrambled. "hmm." Davy said with a small patronising grin. "This way please." Pearl said walking past them.
