Your laughter, a thread weaving through my soul,
The sparkle I hope to preserve, a beacon of light.

In the dance of life, your essence shines bright,
As death's specter looms, my sacrifice takes its toll.

Your smile urges me on to provide you life,
You make it all worth it, the pain and the strife.

Your happiness means more to me than my very own,
You're the reason I get up and continue when I'm all alone.

Seeing you break simply makes me go insane,
My heart hurts at your smallest pain.

I pull myself together so that hope, in me, you'll find,
I get scared beyond belief when those thoughts cross your mind.

Incessantly, I will bear the weight with a steady heart,
Worry not, my dear, for I've done this since the very start.

I cast myself aside, for you, in every single way,
You're the reason, the purpose, the breath of each day.

May you see in my eyes the truth unsaid,
A soul willing to take your place, in every tear you shed.

Through this mist of uncertainties, I'll be there, never contrary,
A sentiment of your support, forever your blue fairy.
