All and nothing

In the quiet depths of nothing, I find my solace,
A vacant echo, a hollow, emotionless space.
No joy, no sorrow, a void that's hard to trace,
Yet, within this numbness, I wear a smiling face.

A storm unfolds when everything rushes in,
A kaleidoscope of feelings, a relentless spin.

Immense happiness blooms, like flowers in spring,
Yet, intertwined, a numbing pain takes its sting.

I wear a smile, while tears silently descend,
A contradiction, a puzzle, difficult to comprehend.

Drowning beneath waves of overwhelming emotion,
Yet thirsting for a drop in this vast, desolate ocean.

Some days, I'm a canvas painted in vibrant hues,
Others, a monochrome landscape where darkness ensues.

Laughter and tears, entwined in a dance,
A delicate balance, a fleeting trance.

The heart feels heavy, burdened with emotion's weight,
Yet, mysteriously, it soars, defying its innate state.

A complex tapestry of feelings woven in the mind,
A rollercoaster ride, leaving sanity far behind.

In this ebb and flow of emotional tide,
I navigate the currents, with nowhere to hide.

A vessel tossed between extremes, a soul adrift,
Feeling everything, feeling nothing, a paradoxical shift.
