Chapter 3

Sakura POV:

We went back inside and I looked at the schedule.

"Your next lesson is at room 304. Just follow me, I'll get you there"

"We don't have the next class together?"

"Unfortunately" I said as I gave Chaewon her schedule back.

I looked at my watch.

10:54

We have enough time.

"Let's go" I said as I started walking towards the classroom and Chaewon followed.

Not a minute has passed and we already got there.

"There it is" I informed Chaewon right before she hugged me.

"Thanks Kkura, see you!" She smiled at me one more time before she got inside.

Kkura.

I got a nickname already?

I shouldn't think about it, I need to get to my room.

I look at my schedule.

"Room 407"

Right when I got inside the classroom, I heard someone scream.

"SAKURAA" Eunchae ran towards me.

"Hey, Eunchae" We hugged each other.

"I was SUPER excited to see you!" Eunchae squealed from happiness.

"Did you really miss me THAT much?" I said in awe.

"You're my friend! Why wouldn't I miss you?!" Then she acted as if she was offended.

"Don't cry, baby" I continued with her act, by wiping away her fake tears.

"SakuRAAA" She shouted at me and she hit me playfully.

We both laughed and most of the people gave us weird looks afterwards. Except, I didn't care at that moment. I was with my friend, and that was the only thing that mattered.

"Wanna sit together?" Eunchae asked.

"Only If you won't be offended again" That made Eunchae giggle.

"I won't, mom"

"Did you just call me old?"

".....no" She said jokingly.

I wanted to say something when the bell interrupted me. Eunchae grabbed me by my arm to the last row of desks and she sat on the right of me.

Sitting down was useless. The teacher came inside and we had to stand up as a respect gesture. Then we sat down and the teacher started talking about civics.

I wonder what Chaewon is doing.

Chaewon POV:

Our Korean teacher was an old man and I couldn't even hear him speaking properly.

To make the situation worse, I don't know anyone here. Maybe I know Sakura but she's not here with me.

I'm also scared to make a bad impression because one of the popular girls that Sakura pointed at sat next to me. What if she will bully me? Make fun of me?

I assume that she was my worried expression because she asked me:

"Are you okay? You seem nervous"

"I'm okay, thanks"

"Yunjin"

"Sorry, what?"

"I'm Yunjin, Huh Yunjin"

"Nice to meet you, I'm Kim Chaewon"

"I know" she chuckled "you introduced yourself to us earlier"

"Oh right, I forgot" I said, sighing.

"Don't worry about it! Everyone makes mistakes!" Yunjin said.

I only nodded.

That was the last interaction we had in this class. I needed to concentrate, I can't do miserably on the first day, obviously!

The class went by quite fast since the teacher was coughing most of the time. When the bell rang, Yunjin turned to me and asked:

"What class you have next?"

"Biology, why?"

"I just wanted to know if we have the same lesson, I guess not. I have history next, so yeah" I nodded at that and left the classroom.

Now, I had to find the classroom myself, without Sakura's help.

It didn't take me that long to find it, which surprises me. I don't like biology, at ALL! It was a complicated subject with too many new phrases and new names.

When I entered the room, I saw Sakura slightly waving at me. I skipped to her table and sat next to her.

"It's okay if I sit here, right?"

"Of course! You don't have to ask" she gave me a smile and I smiled back right away.

"Do you like biology?"

"Nah, do you?"

"Same!!"

"There's no way!" Sakura exclaimed.

"I'm glad I'm not the only one" I said, relieved.

"It's TOO complicated" "But for real"

We talked for like three more minutes before the bell rang for the end of this break and the teacher entered & started teaching.

Me & Kkura didn't really pay attention. We either talked with each other or sent notes to one another. It's only the 1st day and I already understand her.

Like if she was my friend since my birth.
