Chapter 4

Sakura POV:

After biology me & Chaewon had maths and physics together. Did you expect us to learn? Nah! We were talking, sending each other notes & getting to know each other.

I'm glad Eunchae isn't the only friend I have at school now.

After the bell rang, I took Chaewon's hand and we walked from the classroom.

"Where are we going?" Chaewon said, confused.

"Since it's no more school now and we still haven't eaten anything from cafeteria yet, we are heading there"

"Good idea!" Chaewon smiled and skipped while our hands were interwined.

We stood in the line for the food. Luckily, it wasn't really long so we only waited like 5 minutes.

After we got our food, I told Chaewon that we'll be going to the stairs where I sit with Eunchae. She answered excitedly, as always.

Before we could go, we got stopped by one of the popular girls, Huh Yunjin.

"Heyy Chaewon" Yunjin smiled at her and Chaewon smiled back.

"Do you need anything?"

"I just got this idea. What do you think about sitting with me & Kazuha? Kazuha's my bestie by the way" Yunjin chuckles.

Chaewon thinks for a while, glances at me, then at Yunjin and says:

"I'll be going with Sakura, sorry"

Yunjin looks at me for a second and back at Chaewon.

"That's okay! The offer doesn't have an expiration date though" that made Chaewon giggle.

"Thanks a lot! See you around!" Chaewon says and goes to the direction of the stairs.

"She's really kind" Yunjin says. I didn't realize I was standing at the same place, making Chaewon go alone.

"Yeah, but I'll get going"

"The offer counts for you too"

"Why? All of a sudden, you want me to sit with you?"

Yunjin just shrugs and goes to Kazuha & her's table.

I turn around to see Chaewon waiting for me few meters away. I catched up with her & we went towards the door.

"What were y'all talking about?" She asked.

"Yunjin also offered me to sit with her at their table anytime"

"That's great!" Chaewon, again, smiled.

"My friend is probably gonna be there. Is that okay with you, Chae?"

I didn't even realize I gave her that nickname.

"Of course! I'd LOVE to meet new people!"

I opened the glass door for Chaewon, again, and I already saw Eunchae sitting there.

"HEYY!" Eunchae waved at me.

Eunchae's eyes went to Chaewon and she stood up.

"Who's that cute girl?!"

"Eunchae, this is Chaewon. Chaewon, this is Eunchae, my friend" I introduced them to each other.

"Nice to meet you!" "Same here!"

Then we all sat down and then Eunchae & Chae started talking A LOT.

"Are you new?"

"Yeah, just moved here"

And the list went on.

"How did you become friends?" Chaewon then asked.

"Mutuals" I simply said.

"We have one friend. Her name's Garam. You should meet her sometime! But to get to the point, while I was hanging out with her at her place, Sakura knocked on the door. She was returning one book she borrowed. Then Garam told her to come in. She sat next to me on the couch while Garam returned the book to the room. While waiting, I striked up a conversation with her and now we are friends!"

"We don't really see Garam that much anymore. We would like to do with her a sleepover or something" I added.

"How long are y'all friends? I mean only you two"

"Almost a year" I answered.

"Now my turn! How did Y'ALL meet?!" Eunchae asked.

Then I told her how we met & Eunchae's reaction was like this:

"That's not coincidence, you were meant to meet each other, I'm telling you! Why did you ONLY bump into each other and then become friends?! I mean it, ..."

Eunchae continued talking while me & Chae laughed. She can talk about the same topic for HOURS!

"Okay, ENOUGH!" I covered Eunchae's mouth so she couldn't talk. She tried to get my hand of though.

Chaewon did nothing but laughed. Her laugh makes me smile. After a while, I took my hand off Eunchae's mouth & before she could do anything, I stood up & spoke:

"We should go, school won't be opened here forever"

"I GOT A BETTER IDEA!" Eunchae suddenly jumped. "How about, we surprise Garam & introduce her to Chaewon?!"
