I can't believe today I'm doing a double shift at the hospital, well don't get me wrong I love working with children but the problem lies in the attitude of the parents.

I was called an hour ago after my shift, well I couldn't say no, because I have no plans, plus extra hours ,extra cash! .

When I clock in for the second time I'm greeted by Lucy, she is the most friendly old lady at the reception hospital . "Forgot something hun",she ask with concern laced in her voice.

"No Lucy, I got called to do an extra shift because Dr khan had an emergency at home "I say when I sign the register.

"Okay hun,Dr Smith is here too "She says while wiggling her eyebrows.
"Urgh, Lucy it's not gonna happen between me and him "I say when I shake my head.

"Come on hun ,I need grandbabies and I heard that his packing down there ".
I look at her shocked .

"Uhmm..." I'm literally speechless. "Come on hun I need grandbabies ,I'm not getting any younger".

"Forgot it Lucy, it's not gonna work "
I say as I speed walk to my office confused and shocked, what happend to that sweet lady!.

When I reach my office I see Dr khan's files on my desk ,and I get to work ,I'm reading the cases to see which patients are risk and which are not.

mostly parents are not aware that their children have ADHD.

Because some parents don't pay attention to their kids social skills or how their development in learning is at which level, whether is with their peers or far behind.

Mostly because 24/7 they are not with their parents. Some kids are diagnosed with Diabetes before reaching puberty or their teenage years.

Some children's part of the ongoing checkups may involve, treatment for developmental or behavioral concerns .

Autism, spectrum disorders ,sleeping issues are difficulties that a child may experience during their developmental years.

I don't see the time until , I see my phone flash because I have a message. Turns out it's 9pm and the massage is from my mom.

Mom👩🏽‍🦰🌻: Isa, come home when you are done at work. It's important.

Me: okay, I'm almost done ,I'm on my way.

Mom👩🏽‍🦰🌻:Drive safe I love you!!

Mhmh...I wonder what is that important to get my mom to invite me at home, not that I don't visit them ,but I'm just curious.

I wrapped up everything and walk out off my office.

I bump into someone chest ,it made me fall on my ass.

"I'm sorry sometimes I can be a mess"

I ramble on ,while I'm picking my bag and phone on the floor.

This man has hit on me since the first day I came to this hospital, I tried to reject him.
But he never stops, and it's getting annoying.
