Chapter 0: Prologue

Joey Drew Studios. Some really talented people used to work there believe it or not.

Back in the 1920s and early 30s, this Studio was a place where...

'Dreams come true'...

A Studio that would create and bring a little Devil Darling into the Spotlight of early Cartoon History... Bendy.
Together with his friends Boris the Wolf and the beautiful Alice Angel, they would go on many Adventures.
But no one would have even dared to Dream what Horrors had been unleashed behind the Curtain.

Joey Drew.

The owner of this Studio had... unleashed something. Something terrible.
He was able to create a Machine wich was the result of a unholy Wedding of Science and the Supernatural.
A Machine that shouldn't even exist in the first place. The result of Joey Drew's insanity, greed and Sins.

The Ink Machine.

Joey did what no other Person in History had achived... He made his Dreams came true...
Joey's very first creation was the Brainchild he stole from his best friend and partner, Henry Stein.
The little, dancing Darling himself...

Bendy...

But what escaped out of the cursed womb of the Machine was unlike anything Joey had hoped for.
Bendy... was twisted, corrupted and mutated by the very Machine Joey had created. And with that... Bendy got locked up inside Joey's creation wich was hidden inside a massive Vault.

But how could one man achive this? How could one man create this Sin Machine?
Joey's Studio was during poorly after Henry and... a certain other important Artist had left the Studio.
Joey actually had to ask for Financial Support from his Rival... Nathan Arch from Archgate Films.
Joey had big, very big Plans for the Future with Bendy and his Friends... well... after he found out how to create real life versions of them...
But one day... one fateful day... someone would visit Joey.
A man dressed in a blue suit.
He simply told Joey that his... employers... were interested in Joey's project. And that they would help him create this Sininster Apparatus. The only catch?
Joey had to promise only to use this Machine, this power in his hands solely for the purpose to rescue his Studio.
Joey made this Deal... with crossed fingers.

Joey even found the flaw within his Machine. While Bendy was created and after he was alive he lacked something critical... a Soul.
Joey used his own employees, friends and colleagues to experiment. To create... to curse...
The result were creatures with no reason for existence. No reason to be alive. Nothing more but failed experiments...
Beings who craved death and welcomed it with open arms...
Others however, got corrupted to such a degree that it was Impossible to make the difference if they were still alive... or something else.

Sammy Lawrence, the head of the Music Departement used the Speaker Systems and the levels he was stuck and trapped on to manipulate the Lost Ones and other creatures of the depths of this newly created Hell. To use them as his own personal Legions and sacrifices for his new found 'Lord'.

Susie Campbell, the first Voice Actress for Alice Angel also lost her mind in a different way. Born as a hideous fallen Angel, she build herself a Cathedral within the Toy Departement of the Studio. Always looking for new parts and Victims for her own personal project.
A project that was stopped by the very man she tried to corrupt...

Allison Pendle, the second Voice Actress of Alice Angel managed to escape the Insanity however. As a sole survivor, she used all the tricks up her sleeve to actually survive. Together with a Boris clone named Tom, an ex Gent. Corp. employee, she had met after a close encounter with the other creatures in this Studio, they have managed to survive... at the best of their abilities...
