I kept running... My eyes were shut tight and the cold air sent shivers down my spine, but I didn't care. I needed to get as far away from them as possible.

I would say i ran for about 10 minutes, of course I took breaks in-between, I'm not super human.. Wait I forgot, I am haha...

When I opened my eyes to the unfamiliar roads and houses, I knew I was screwed. I'm in a strange place, with nobody by my side, and the people I though cared about me ..don't.

I began to walk aimlessly as the rain stopped. As I looked into the sky, the sun was beginning to set and I started to get scared. What if I get kidnapped, Or what if someone tries to kill me, One of those yokai are bound to get me if I don't make it home soon.. but I don't wanna go back... I never wanted tomoe to hate me. I wish none of this happened, I wish I was back in that hospital bed and I could forget all of this happened.

"What am I saying to myself...."

I begin to walk and come across a park. I lay on the bumpy bench nearby and come up with a plan to get back to the shrine tomorrow morning. I Sigh and drift to sleep.

My eyes slowly open to see a ceiling. As I look around I see a lightly furnished room that is unfamiliar to me. I slowly get up and hear a voice behind me.

" Ah..your finally awake"

I turn around to meet his gaze and gasp to see the guy from yesterday.

"Your the guy.. in the library yesterday"

"Yes I am. It's Good that you remembered". He says with a smile.

He gets up and sits in front of me and gets ready to speak before I interrupt him.

"AH- I CANT BELIVE I FORGOT" I Say with widened eyes.

It turns out I do know this guy. It's mizuki from the show, and I comply forgot he existed. What's wrong with me how could I forget. He's pretty important in the books.

He looks at me in confusion.

"No it's nothing I just remembered somthing stupid haha..."

He hummed and got up while walking towards the door.

" Are you hungry? Let's eat something".

I nodd and follow him out of the room and into the dinning room.

"You can sit and wait here while I get somthing for you to eat." He says while pulling out a chair for me.

I sit at the table and he leaves for a moment. In the corner of my eye I can see the two shrine spirits that help keep him company peeking out at me shyly. I smile at them and they smile back.

Soon after mizuki comes back with a plate of food and a glass of water. He notices where I'm looking and glares at the two spirits while they run away and turns back to me. He places the food and the water in front of me and sits in front of me.

"Thank you..." I say meekly

"No problem"

I Take a bite of the food and my eyes widen. It tastes amazing. I hear mizuki chuckle and I look up to see him watching me.

" What" I say tilting my head.

"I'm sorry haha.. it's just your expression it's funny".

I chuckle and turn back to my food.

" Oh and what's your name again by the way?"

"It's y/n."

"Oh okay, I'm mizuki.. nice to meet you".

Yea I already know that lol.

"Nice too meet you too" I respond.

" so uhm.. why did you bring me here?"

"Well I was leaving the park when I saw you and you looked so sad while sleeping, I couldn't help it. So I brought you here and gave you some new clothes. You were drenched" he says while getting up.

"Huh.." I blanky say.

I look down to see a new pair of clothes on me.

"And don't worry I didn't do anything to you" he adds.

I Sigh in relief and grab my empty plate to wash in the kitchen. He notices and grabs it from me.

"I'll do it you can go".

I nod and walk into the hallways.

I walk into the room next to mine which seemed like another bedroom. I head for the bookcase on the shelves and grab a book that seemed interesting. I begin reading it and mizuki walked into the room. He looked suprised to see me in here.

" Oh sorry I kinda just wandered in here" I say

" It's okay. I see your reading my favorite book."

"Oh really.. it just looked interesting so I grabbed it."

" Yea I I'm kinda attached to this one and the green one that has gold letters." He points.

"Ohh then I'll probably read that one next".
He sits next to me and we talk about different things.
He's really easy to talk to about things. I don't want to leave but Im starting to miss tomoe.

I stare off into space and didn't notice him calling me.

" Y/n...Y/nnn" he calls out to me

" Hm? Sorry I was spaced out".

" That's okay."

" Mizuki.. I've had a great time here but I think it's time for me to go home now."

".... I was a little curious.. why were you sleeping in the park yesterday".

" Oh... Someone from home said somthing that hurt me so much that I couldn't stay around him and so I ran away and got lost. But I'm fine now and I can face him again even if it seems like he hates me, thats okay.. because I know that just how he is.. really harsh without knowing it or without trying to be." I say while putting my head down

There was a short silence between us befor he spoke

".... It's seems as if you like him... In a romantic way"

I looked at him a bit surprised but I turned back to the floor again.

"Yea I do."

He hummed and got up.

"Well then I guess it's time we get you home hm."

I smiled and nodded.
