"Oh shit.... i'm screwed".

I say as i back up. As they close in on me and i look up and try and see if i can climb the wall and to my surprise Tomoe is there watching me get chased while sitting on a roof. I lit up a bit after i saw him and thought to myself that this was my chance to escape from thoses demons.

" T-Tomoe!" i shout out to him.

" Oh, no by all means continue the show, things are just about to get interesting". he saids with a mischievous grin.

I try climbing up the wall and slipped once i make it half way up. " i rubbed my but and looked back to see them sprinting towards me. I shriek and try climbing the wall once again and this time my hand made it to the top but i wasn't able to pull myself up because of the weight.

" TOMOE PLEASEEE"I cry. He sits silently looking really amused.

" Im tired now i might take a nap now" tomoe replied.

"TOMOE PLEASE HELP ILL DO ANYTHING JUST GET THEM AWAY FROM ME" i say while practically sobbing.

His ears perked up upon hearing me say that. He swiftly jumped and landed onto the top of the wall and hummed while crouching to meet my gaze. And just as i was about to speak one of the vile creatures grabbed my leg and tugged it pretty hard and both my hands slipped. Thinking i was done for i shut my eyes as tight as i could but nothing happened. I felt an arm grab my hand and then felt a gush of air. I slowly opened my eyes to see that i was in mid air in Tomoes arms. I didnt focus on that though i focused on how high up i was it was terifying.

"WHAAA WHAT THE HELL." i say while siting up and holding onto him tighter.

" i swear if you drop me i'm going to haunt you for the rest of my days" i say while glaring at him. He ignores me and slowly descends to the floor.

we then land on the ground he drops me and looks at me while groan in pain. Then a burning paper floats towards us and I hear nanamis voice calling for help.

"I think nanami is in trouble tomoe we should go help" I say to him. I totally forgot about the old demon lady that tries to eat her.

"Yes... I shall go. I think I'll enjoy watching her scream and cry, After all watching you cry wasn't amusing at all." He says to me and I felt a little upset but brushed it off either way.

I grab onto his sleeve and he looks down at my hand then and me with a confused look and I look back at him.

"Why are you holding my sleeve?."

"Aren't we gonna go get her?"

"But what does that have to do with you holding my sleeve" he says while smacking my arm.

"What? Don't you like have teleportation or something?".

He scoffs at me and says " I'm not bringing you with me, you'll just have to go on your own".

He then disappears in his blue flames and leaves me behind stunned and confused.

" Why... Is that bastard so CRUEL??" I yell out the last part.

After what felt like an everlasting run to their location I made it to them and there it was. Nanami fell off of the tree and grabbed tomoes leg and kissed him.

And at that moment I had the realization that in order to have tomoe to myself.. I would have to compete with nanami.

Nanami was saved by tomoe who was extremely upset that he has become a familiar again. I walked up to the two while keeping a small distance between us.

When nanami saw me she looked like she was about to cry. She ran up to me giving me a hug while saying

" I'm so glad your okay. When I didn't see you behind me I thought that those demons got you" she says.

"Tomoe said that you got eaten" she says glaring at him and tomoe looks away pretending he didn't hear her.

"Actually tomoe ended up helping me out. Without him I wouldn't be here" say to her.

I turn to tomoe and walk up to him. Now we are both facing each other.

"Tomoe thank you" I say while giving him the best smile I have. He didn't say anything but he just turned making his back face me.

"You seem to have forgotten what you said to me" he responded.

I looked at him confused and then it hit me on the head like 20 bricks.

" Please tomoe help I'll do anything just get them away from me" Tomoe tries to mimic my voice and starts laughing.

My face felt hot from hearing him say that and I try to make up an excuse.

" That was- .. I didn't mean that I was just desperate you know haha.." I say embarrassed.

" It's to late now. From this day forth you shall now be my little dog" tomoe says while walking towards the shrine.

I didn't really object to it but I was upset that he didn't choose a cuter name.

And with that we went back to the shrine... My new home.

The end for this chapter lmao. I'm having some trouble tho 😭 I wanna keep it like with the story plot but I also added my own twist yk and it's kinda hard to fully incorporate it into it yk walk also keeping the characters like themselves and not trailing off from the story. So plz tell me if you see any plot holes yk.
