eddie and y/n were whispering among themselves while the rest of the group were in front of them "so do you like him?" y/n pressued, he had made it very clear that eddie didn't have to answer if he didn't want to though
"i dunno, i guess" eddie mumbled back before stan started freaking out, pointing at random plants "thats poison ivy… and… that's poison ivy and thats poison ivy."
"where, where's the poison ivy?"
"nowhere! not every fucking plant is poison ivy stanley!"
y/n sat on a rock, staying behind Eddie, who was bitching with richie about something stupid "i mean are you retarded!" eddie yelled, waving his hand infront of his face "g-guh-guys…" bill saidfrom inside the sewers, holding up a sneaker "shit, don't tell me that's…" stan started
"no, georgie wore galoshes" As bill Spoke y/n shoved eddies inhaler inro his hand and looking at the inside of the sneaker "who's sneaker is it?"
"Betty Ripsoms"
"oh shit. oh god oh fuck! i don't like this"
"imagine how betty feels? running around in these tunnels with only one frickin' shoe?" richie said, jumping on one foot to exaggerate "too far man" y/n said, making richie put his foot down and mutter a quick apology "what if she's still here?" stan looked at the three boys in the sewers as they moved further in "eddie come on!" richie called out, looking at eddie and waving a hand for him to come in, the teen sighed and shook his head "my mom will have an aneurysm- okay? if she finds out we're playing down here- i'm serious" eddie rambled "so what?" y/n laughed, turning around and holding up his arms as if to say i'm here! so what? she won't know "bill?" eddie said, ignoring his twin "if… if i was Betty Ripsom, i would want us to find me… g- geo- georgie too"
"what id i don't wanna find them? i mean no offense bill, but i don't wanna end up like geo- i don't wanna go missing ether" eddie said, changing the end of his sentance whrn he got a don't do that to him look from y/n "he has a point"
"y-yoh-you too?" bill said, sounding sad- or betrayed
"it's summer! we're supposed to be having fun! this isn't fun. this is scary and disgusting" stan pointed out bitterly, jumping as the new kid fell in the water behind them. eddie and stanley quickly ran to him to make sure he was okay "holy shit what happened to you?" richie asked as he left the sewer pipe, holding Bettys shoe
"guys we need to help him" stan said, getting up, the rest of them also got up and started to move, bill helping the new kid "y-y/n aren't you coming?" he asked, looking at the teen, who was sat on a rock, pushing leaves and pebbles out of the wheels of his skateboard "ill catch up, you go ahead" he replied, giving bill 3 bucks to help fix up the kid "i swear" y/n turned around after he finished speaking and tried to get s rock out of the skateboard

a few minutes after the five boys left, patrick hockstetter walked up, taking out his lighter and hairspray "the fuck are you doing here twink?" he said, kicking rocks at the skateboard. the younger kid stayed silent, the two heard a noise from the sewer, patrick went in and sprayed the hairspray at the small flame of the lighter, making a makeshift flamethrower.
a minute later, y/n could hear patrick screaming "what the fuck!!" y/n ran in "patrick? you okay?" he called out, hearing a faint "you found us patrick" and running to the sound, only to see the corpses of Ripsom and a bunch of other kids and teens, their eyes white and covered in blood, their hair was matted and you could see their teath from holes in their cheeks, pices of patricks cjewed up flesj squeezing through the holes and splashing into the greywater, patricks screams echoed through the sewers, gut wrenching screams of agony, y/n gagged, "patrick? holy shit!" he yelled as he prosessed the gory scene that would 100% haunt him for the rest of his life, he quickly ran away and got his skateboard, running too the main street of derry and skating to the pharmacy, acting as if he didn't just watch someone die.
The teen quickly stopped skating as he nearly hit a girl from his history class, beverly marsh "shit hey, sorry" he said, sounding distraught "hey… y/n right?" she said, he nodded.
the two started talking about general stuff, small talk like their plans for the summer then they saw bill walk out of the alleyway, stopping when he saw the two.walking and laughing together, and he quickly took some money out of his pocket and holding a small bit out for beverly, giving the other three back to y/n "th-thanks" he said and beverly held up a pack of cigarettes "even steven" she said, looking into the allyway, hearing the boys bickering "ben from soch?" sje said and walked over to the new kid… ben, the blood and dirt making y/n gag "y-y/n are you o-o-o-okay?" bill said, the teen never gagged when he was discusted… ever "yeah i'm alright"
y-you can talk to me, r-ri-right?" bill stuttered, taking y/ns hand, stopping him from walking into the alleyway after beverly. "i'll tell you later" y/n replied, looking at bill and giving him a small, weak smile
