I wonder who that was, you wonder while staring up at the stars. 'I should thank her.... She and the boy seemed to be on good terms. I think she called him her brother?'
"What're you thinking about?" Zoro asks from behind you.
"Oh, nothing much. Just that girl who helped me."
"You know I could've gotten him for you even if she hadn't come, right?"
"Yes, but that was still kind of her. I'd like to give her a proper thank you." You answer.
"I'll come with you."
"Huh?"
"You know, just in case her brother gets out of hand again."
"Oh... thank you, Zoro."
A FEW MOMENTS LATER
"You know, you said that you'd come with me, but I have no idea where they are." You say.
"I can try to find them."
"And end up in the west blue? No thanks. I'd rather have you here."
"I'm not going to walk all the way to the west blue! This is an island; you know!"
"I know that, but with your sense of direction , it doesn't seem that unrealistic!" You laugh.
THIRD PERSON POV
It's been a few days after the incident and your amount of smiles had decreased again, which had been dragging down Zoro's mood as well. Not that he told you that. But he was glad that you smiled again. Even if it was at his expense. And honestly, he didn't really mind as much as he would of it was someone else.
"You should smile more." He says.
"Huh?"
"I like your smile. I don't know why. I'm just glad to see you happy, I guess."
"Really? I guess I will then..."
For some reason, this comment had made you extremely happy. Why? This was so confusing. Maybe you should ask someone about it, you thought. Not that you had someone to ask; because although Zoro was a great friend, you'd like someone to talk to about all of these feelings that you were... feeling.
"Are you okay?" You hear him ask.
"Hm?"
"You look sad."
"Oh, you picked up on that? Yeah, I guess so, but it's nothing serious." You say.
"Are you sure?"
"Yep! I'm sure!" You shouldn't be worrying Zoro like this... it's not like it's super important anyways, he should be focusing on other things.
"What do you mean? You ARE important."
A blush starts creeping it's way up after you realize that you had said that out loud.
"Well, I mean like its not bothering me that much!"
"Okay then... If you say so."
