Omg if u have read this far thx so so much. It means A LOT to me. Thx again! peace out-

YOUR POV

"My name is y/n l/n. Um... You're that one guy who was always challenging and then losing to Kuina right?"

"Yeah, that's me."

"Have you heard about i-it?"

"If by "it, you mean Kuina's death, then yeah, I have." He answered.

"She was the only person who was ever nice to me. I look really weak and don't stand out; I definitly can't be called pretty. My mum didn't like that; she wanted a pretty girl. She left when I was around five. My dad is an alcoholic, and not exactly the best person, so I..."

"That sounds harsh"

"But then one day, when I was sitting around outside, avoiding my dad, Kuina came along!" Your face lights up with a smile. "Once she heard about my situation, she offered to take me in and train me. Now I have to go back there, and everyone will start bullying me again because there's no Kuina to protect me. "

"Well, I would offer you a place to stay, but my house keeps moving for some reason and I can't find it...", Zoro said.

"It's okay. I can fight a bit now, so I'll survive, but... I was thinking, maybe there's no reason for me to live and I should just go join Kuina in the afterlife..."

"Do you think that's what she would've wanted?"

"No..." You say, your shoulders slumping.

"Then live on." Zoro said. His gaze was so intense you couldn't bring yourself to look away.

"Do you really think that... I can do that? I can be happy here too, without Kuina?" You responded.

"Of course. Kuina's death hit me hard as well, but I know that I need to keep living, because not only is that what she wanted, but I have... A bet to win." He smiles bitterly. "So I'm going to keep living. What you do is up to you, but I know that if you do decide to keep living, I can take Kuina's place to train you. While I may not have beaten her, I'm still relatively good at swordsmanship. And... That's what she would want me to do. Because I'm sure that even if she;s dead, she still cares about you. And just how you wouldn't want a friend that's living to die, she doesn't want you to die either."

Your eyes brighten just a bit. 'What Kuina wants for me...'

"You don't need to give your response immediatly. Just think before you jump."

"I-" You take a deep breath, steadying your voice. "I'll live on, and make Kuina happy. And... I will gladly take you up on those lessons. I'll show people in her place that girls can become swordsm-woman; I guess, too.

Zoro's gaze softened.

"By the way, my name's Roronoa Zoro."

"I know." You say, smiling. "Kuina used to talk about you a lot. Before you showed up, she didn't train much, but once you did, she was determined to stay stronger than you."

"Really?"

"I have no reason to lie." You say, cracking the smallest bit of a smile.

"Good point."

"By the way, is the training area up ahead yours? I always thought it was Kuina's but I just noticed the initials RN carved into one of the trees used."

"Yeah, that's mine."

"Wow! You can really lift those?"

"I have no reason to lie." Zoro says, smirking while quoting what you said earlier. "Oh wow, it's already time for dinner."

"What? How can you tell?"

"My stomach, duh."

You blink a couple of times. "Oh."

"Well, I'll see you tomorrow or whatever. Can't train on a empty stomach." He starts walking, but not back to the dojo. "You gonna eat? You stay at the dojo, right?

"I don't, and that's the same direction you came from!" You say, confused.

He turns around and starts walking again... in the same direction.

"That's still the same direction."You say, now extremely confused.

"No it's not!" He says.

"Yes... it is... Could it be that you have a terrible sense of direction? Where are you trying to get to, anyways?"

"The dojo. And I don't."

"It's this way," You say, pointing.

He starts walking in another direction.

"I knew it! You DO have a horrible sense of direction!" You exclaim.

"I do not!"

"Yes you do!"

"Do not!"

"Do too!", you say, sticking your tongue out. "Here, I'll show you."

You start walking towards the dojo-and Zoro follows you. After a few minutes of walking in silence, you reach it.

"Here! See! You were going in the opposite direction!" You say.

"I was not! I was heading towards here!"

You stare at him for a minute. Was he joking, or...?

"You know what, I give up. You're not gonna listen to me anyways," You say, finally giving up.
