ZORO'S POV
As soon as Kaze told us what needed to be done, I blushed. Then Kuuki has the WONDERFUL idea that I would do it.
I would give her CPR.
Y/n, please forgive me for taking your first kiss...Hey, wait a minute...
"Why am I doing this? Isn't Kaze the only one out of all of us that has ANY medical knowledge? I have absolutely none!"
"No one cares!" The twins say simultaneously.
"In fact, I'M NOT cpr certified." Kaze then says.
"How can you say that while looking so proud?" Kuuki says, sweatdropping. "Anyway, you don't want y/n to die right? So hurry up!"
"Well, of course I don't! But..."
"No buts. Do it now."
"Fine. Kaze, please guide me."
And so I get to work.
5 minutes or so later
"All right, her pulse is steady and all of the water is out of her." Kaze says.
"Which means?..."
"You can stop now, Zoro"
"Ok"
Phew. I'm glad that y/n's okay. I don't know what I would do if she...
died.
After a few minutes of silence, someone finally speaks up. It's Kaze.
"Hey, why do you think y/n almost drowned? Wasn't she a pretty good swimmer?"
"Actually, I have a theory for that. You know that fruit that we all ate? I think it may have been a devil fruit!" Kuuki says.
"Wait, but we all ate that. So then why didn't I drown when I saved her?" I ask.
"Do you not know ANYTHING about devil fruits?"
"No."
Kuuki sighs. "Okay then. You see, when multiple people eat the same devil fruit, the one who digests it first gets the power. Even if it's only by a millisecond. Y/n ate it first, so she got...whatever power devil fruit gives. I'll have to consult my devil fruits book to find that out."
"May I ask... What's a devil fruit?" Kaze says sheepishly.
"Are you serious?" Kuuki and I both say.
Kuuki let's out yet another sigh and starts to explain.
"A devil fruit is a fruit that can give you tremendous power, but in return, the sea hates you, making it impossible for any devil fruit user to swim. Ok, well, the swim swim fruit still allows you to swim but that doesn't do anything but make it so that you can't eat another devil fruit, after all, you can only eat one devil fruit."
"Oh. So.... Y/n can't swim any more?" Kaze asks.
"Well, I'm not sure. I've never met a devil fruit user before, so it's possible that she can swim if it's not seawater, but again, I'm not sure." Kuuki responds.
I quickly excuse myself from the conversation to check on y/n, but she's not there. Not... There?
Okay, yeah, this is 424 words without the a/n, but I published a chapter literally 5 mins ago, so.
