"So. It's one day before Zoro's birthday. What are you getting him?" Kuuki asks.
"That's what I want to know! I have no idea whatsoever!"
"Mmkaaaaay. I thought you had been thinking about this for months?.."
"I HAVE! But I still have no idea what to get him!" You exclaim.
"How about a sword?"
"I don't have enough money, plus, he already has three."
"Right. A sword care set?"
"He already has one."
"A wig?"
"Why a wig?"
"To hide his green hair."
"I don't think he wants that."
"Fine, a... Shirt?"
"I highly doubt he would like that."
"What's if you treat him to something to eat?"
"Wait, that's actually... A REALLY GOOD IDEA! THANKS KUU!"
"No problem! Just make sure you have enough money; you know how much he eats."
"Kuu, he exercises a lot every day. He can't help being hungry! Plus, it's not like he eats as much as that one kid who won the east blue eating contest... What was his name again?"
"I think it started with an L...Anyways, I get where you're coming from. That kid ate enough for 100 Marines! And I'm impressed with how the chefs kept up with him, too. And one of them was kinda cute, don't you think?"
"You mean the one with the Viking beard? Kuuki, what the hell?"
"NO! I mean the blond one with the weird name.. um... Tanji, I think?"
"I think his name was Sanji..."
"Yeah, him. But I guess you don't think so 'cause you-"
Just then, a familiar voice joins the conversation.
"Because y/n what?"
You turn around to see a veeeery familiar greenete standing in the doorway.
"Zoro, hello! How long were you there?" You ask.
"Just got here. What're you talking about?"
Kuuki buts in with an evil smile. "Oh, we were just talking about -"
Before she can continue, you elbow her in the ribs.
"Doughnuts. We were talking about doughnuts." You say, with a weird looking smile on your face.
"Doughnuts? Okay..." Zoro says, looking at the both of you weirdly. The , after a few moments of awkward silence, he says, "Well then, I'll be in my area of the treehouse if you need me". Then, he walks off in the opposite direction. "Zoro. Your area is that way." You deadpan, used to this by now.
"Right." With that, he walks over, in the right direction this time.
Once he's gone, you ask, "So, what restaurant should I take him too?"
THE NEXT DAY-ZORO'S BIRTHDAY
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY ZORO!" You shout along with Kuuki and Kaze.
The only response you get is a "huh?"
"Well, I mean, it's your birthday today, right?" You ask.
"Oh, yeah, I think so. I don't really keep track of that kind of stuff."
