Seven years had drifted by like leaves on the river of time,

and Aadhya had forged a new life for herself.

She had become a renowned Chartered Accountant, mended her relationships, and found a sense of peace.

Then, one fateful day, Adhvik reappeared, like a ghost from the past, uninvited and unwelcome.

When she saw his name flash on her phone, anger surged within her like a tempest.

A flood of memories washed over her – the hurt, the betrayal.

She answered the call, her voice laced with the bitterness of old wounds.

"Adhvik, what do you want after all these years?"

Adhvik stammered, trying to explain himself, to apologize, but Aadhya was having none of it.

She unleashed a torrent of pent-up anger and frustration, her words cutting like a knife.

"You destroyed my trust, Adhvik. You shattered my world. Do you even realize the pain you caused?"

Adhvik listened in silence, bearing the brunt of her words, understanding the gravity of his actions.

Aadhya continued her tirade, scolding him for his past mistakes, for the scars she still carried.

"You disappeared when I needed you the most. You left me to pick up the pieces of my life. And now you expect forgiveness?"

As their conversation unfolded, Aadhya's emotions raged like a storm.

Yet, beneath the anger, she sensed a change in Adhvik – a sincere desire to make amends.

"Adhvik, I need time. Time to process all of this. Go away for now."

Adhvik, understanding the gravity of his actions and the depth of Aadhya's emotions, agreed to step back.

With heavy hearts, they ended the call, leaving Aadhya with a complex mix of emotions – anger, hurt,

and a flicker of hope that someday,

they might find a way to heal the wounds of the past.
