there were only 20 more days for the final exam. Aadhya had finished her studies and was revising.
she wanted to go home but her father said that she should stay in the hostel finish her exams and then come home.
like the obedient daughter she was, she always listened to her father.
Her father said that she would have a surprise waiting for her at home. Her father had found her a suitable groom and wanted her to marry him. Aadhya didn't know anything about the things that had been going on at home.
Aadhya finished her exams and started her preparations for her C. A base course. She brought the books and all the study materials and went home.
"Aadhya! Welcome home what are you doing with all those books? Don't tell me that you have more exams. Didn't I tell you to come home only after all this ?"
"relax dad! these books are for my C. A foundation course exam. remember how I wanted to become a C. A and I told you all about it right?"
"Ugh, you and your exams! forget all this and get married...girls are supposed to get married in life and give birth...I don't understand when you will understand all this"
"Look Dad I don't want to fight over this topic again OK? I want to become a C. A and I will do anything to achieve my goals and I don't want to waste my time fighting with you so please could you just let me do what I want to"
"HEY LISTEN YOU ARE LIVING IN MY HOUSE OK. YOU HAVE TO LISTEN TO ME OR GET OUT OF THIS HOUSE!"
just then Aadhya's best friend Advika comes out of her room.
"hey hey let's all calm down all right?! it's okay uncle what will happen if girls follow their passions huh?"
"Aadhya listen I only want what is best for you and I have set up your marriage with someone can you at least pls just see the boy once for my sake?"
"you know what I don't want to see anyone I JUST WANT TO BECOME A C.A. WHY DOESN'T ANYONE UNDERSTAND??!!!"
Aadhya runs out of the house crying and takes all her books with her
ever since her mom's death, no one loved her. her father only took care of her because he thought that she was his duty or something
