No one's pov

Nick and Charlie arrive to class

Mr.Lange
"You're late."

Nick
"I have accommodations, charlie found me lost in the halls and helped me get here." He says handing a slip to the teacher stating he's allowed to arrive late and leave class early.

Mr.Lange
"Fine take a seat in the back with Charles." He sighs

Charlie takes nicks hand again and leads him to the desks in the back. Nellie tucks herself right next to Nick on the ground.

Charlies pov

"So what year are you in?" I ask Nick

"I'm in year 11, how about you?"

[So he's older, I thought to myself]

"I'm in year 10" I reply. I stare at him, his hair, his nose, his freckles, his lips.... [ Stop it, charlie! He's probably straight!]

"Like what you see?" Nick jokes

Charlie turns bright red, "ho-how did you...."

Nick chuckles a little. "I'm not completely blind, I can see the outline of things, lights and shadows, and a bit of colors. Everything is just super blurry, like being under water without goggles but worse."

"Oh... I'm so sorry." I look down playing with my sleeve.

"It's okay, a lot of people stare," he gives a small smile. Wow, he's so cute.

Class goes by quickly, and I mention to Nick about 5 mins before class is over.

"Thanks for letting me know I should get going." He raises his hand and asks to be excused.

"Do you know how to get to your next classes?" Oh yeah, I've got them memorized he smiles.

"But... you needed help getting here?" I say confused.

"Yeah, about that, I just didn't want you to get into trouble for being late. I'll see you later, Charlie Spring. " he takes Nellie's handle and walks away

[Wow... he did that just for me? He's so kind]

The bell rings, and we all head to our next classes. During lunch, I go and sit with Toa and Issac.

Tao
"I did it again, I bought elles drink again."

Issac
"Didn't you do that yesterday day" he says giggling

Tao
"Yes, issac, yes I did. And on monday."

"Elles not here , she's not be here all week." I say

Tao
"I knowwww"

"Hey, what happened to your eyebrow?" Issace points at it

"Oh, nothing just bummed my head."

Issac looks at him, worried.

Tao keeps speaking as I spot Nick sitting with the rugby lads, Issac notices and smiles at me. I don't even notice I'm too enchanted by the strawberry blonde

"Is that Nick nelson? The guy you sit next to in form?" Tao asks

"Who?" I ask, not paying attention still looking at him.

"He looks like a golden retervier." tao jokes

"He doesn't look like a golden retervier," a laugh, "Okay, he does."

"You know he used to be a rugby king" toa mentions, sipping on his Apple juice.

"What happened?" I ask a hint of sadness and curiosity in my voice.

"I don't know some type of accident, I guess." Tao says, shrugging it off

Tao goes off to warn me about what kind of guy he probably is and the type of people that hang around him.

"But he's.... nick"
