"Yes, I'm fine."

"Of course..."

"Yeah, we can handle this."

"Mm, I'll not regret this.." First looked at tired and asleep Khaotung endearingly, with a gentle smile despite the wreck happening outside of their place.

"Yeah...I really love him"

"I get what you are trying to say, don't worry Mom, I'll be okay."

"It's inevitable" First still smiled looking at his worried mom.

"It's late here, I'll go to sleep now. Don't stress over this thinking about me, okay?"

"Trust me, I'll really be fine. I have him, I'm not alone at all."

He cut off the call despite seeing his mom's uncertain and worried look. He was still the same.

He sighed audibly, slouching on the edge of the bed slightly. With his head dropped, he seemed to be in deep thought and Khaotung who was never asleep this whole time to begin with couldn't figure out what emotion First's face held.

After a short while, First came in snuggling in Khaotung's warm embrace.

"How are you doing, darling?"

"You won't believe Mom, even though I'm not that good instructors here actually recognize my capacity. They keep on encouraging me."

"Really? That's great then. But still, practicing must be hard right? I heard you guys' training is really difficult and packed with this and that, every day."

"Where did you hear that from?"

"Of course it's hard but, it's not unbearable. Something that I can totally manage hehe" First reassuringly says to his mom.

"No matter how busy you are, eat properly and rest well, okay?"

"Okay, mom. I need to rest now, I'll go to sleep now, okay?"

"Ohh ohh bye then."

"Bye mom, love you."

"Love you too, take care of yourself well."

"Mm byee" First blankly looked at his cell phone, the black screen clearly reflected his eyes all red, and he was holding back tears.

Despite his courage and determination, all the accumulated stress of this first week finally got him when he talked to his mother.

He was harshly reminded by every instructor in the company, and they did it kindly in English so he could understand despite his poor Korean.

Unlike most people, he has not been into K-pop since he was little, and passionate about it since then preparing for wherever they could climb to now.

With the sudden introduction to the world, he was genuinely interested which led him to take basic dance classes and Korean language classes just right after, even before coming to Korea. Soon after he got the chance to be scouted by a company as a trainee, and he felt he was lucky, he even felt that not being able to see his constant hard work's clear result he became frustrated, which led him to a mental breakdown.

That night, First was there, in the practice room till early dawn.
