K: "It's time. I've waited too long and I don't want to keep this secret from her any longer."

A: "Kara, are you sure? I know you're friends, but she's still a Luthor. What if Lex finds a way to get the truth out of her?"

K: "Then I'll face the consequences, but I won't keep lying to Lena, Alex."

A: "Ok. I suggest bringing something to ease her mind into the news because she's still going to be pretty mad that you didn't tell her sooner."

K: "I know. I'm getting a giant bag with her favorites from Big Belly Burger. No one can be mad on a full stomach, right?" Alex shook her head and left. "Maybe I should bring the whole building."

K: "Knock, knock."

L: "Kara, I'm so glad to see you. Wait, wait. Is that Big Belly Burger?" Kara giggles. "Have I ever told you you're my favorite person?" They share a warm hug. Kara knows this happy mood won't last much longer.

K: "James said you've been working through lunches and dinners."

L: "Yeah, I have. Sales for the image inducer have been skyrocketing ever since the revelation that the president is an alien." Kara was also stunned by the news and was one of the few that saw the news as a good thing. They walked toward a small area with a couch and table to eat their lunch.

K: "How are you feeling about the whole thing?"

L: "You know me. I despise politicians, but I commend her for stepping down after the reveal. We don't need the nation going into chaos over this." Kara kept stealing glances at Lena hoping to know when the best time would be to reveal her truth.

K: "Lena, what do you think about Supergirl?"

L: "What do you mean?"

K: "What do you think about her revealing her identity?"

L: "That is a hard subject. I mean I understand that she's protecting herself, but what about the rest of the people who don't have superpowers to protect themselves? I firmly believe humans should have as much power as aliens that way we wouldn't really need the supers."

K: "Lena, I...."

L: "Why are you asking me this?"

K: "There's something I need to tell you and I know you're going to be mad, but eventually I hope you understand."

L: "You know who she is, don't you?" Kara nodded. "I should have known with Catco always publishing those articles about her. It's no wonder James adores her so much."

K: "Lena, I'm... I'm Supergirl." Lena looked confused. Kara flew out the window for a moment and came back with Supergirl's cape on.

L: "You're Supergirl?"

K: "Lena, I'm sorry I didn't tell you before. I-" Eve came into the room.

E: "The chief programmer for the image inducers is dead. Our system is being hacked." Lena looked at Kara. "Supergirl?"

L: "We'll finish this later. I need to stop the hack." Lena managed to stop the images of all the aliens wearing the image inducers from being revealed, but Mercy Graves still managed to get inside Luther Corp.

E: "Lena, we're on lockdown."

L: "She's here. Supergirl, get Eve out of here."

K: "I can get you both out of here."

L: "I can defend myself. Just make sure everybody gets out of here." Kara knew Lena wouldn't change her mind.

K: "I'm coming back."

L: "I know." Supergirl left carrying Eve. "I can't believe some glasses fooled me."

Kara came back to Lena's office after making sure most if not all employees got out safely. She tuned in her super hearing and heard Lena downstairs speaking with Mercy.

M: "You don't deserve the Luthor name, Earth traitor." Kara broke down a door and trapped Mercy.

K: "You got that backwards. The Luthor name doesn't deserve Lena."

L: "Thank you. We still have to talk." Kara nodded and took Mercy away to jail. When she came back, Lena was in her office.

K: "Hey."

L: "It's astonishing what a simple pair of glasses can do to fool somebody. Did your cousin use the same technique?" Kara nodded.

K: "Lena, I-"

L: "Please don't. I understand you're protecting yourself, your family, maybe even me. You also know how Superman messed up my brother's whole life because of his secret identity and the need for power."

K: "You can't blame Clark for how crazy Lex became. He didn't plan to become Lex's worst enemy."

L: "Clark?" Kara scolded herself. She only had to reveal her truth not everyone else's. "You know what, it's better if I don't know. I need some time to process this, K- Supergirl. You lied to me for a long time. I can't just get over that."

K: "I know and I am so sorry for taking so long to tell my truth, but I want you to understand something. I didn't do this to hurt you. The whole point of keeping a secret identity is not just to protect me. By keeping it a secret, I make sure that my enemies don't attack my family and my friends. I would never want to expose someone I love to that."

L: "Give me some time." Kara took something out of her pocket and placed it on Lena's desk.

K: "If you need me, I'm just a click away." Lena grabbed the beacon and nodded. Kara flew out of the office causing all of Lena's papers to fall to the floor.

L: "I'm going to need some paper weights."
