It was past midnight already, Zanzia and I made our back to the dinner room where everyone was still seated and chatting.
I looked around for my father who was no where to be seen,

"Have you seen my father?"I asked one of the maids as she approached me,

"Yes your highness,I saw him walk upstairs with a few royals"

"Royals?...from what family?"

"I do not know your highness"
She said and I nodded for her to leave.
I walked over to the table and took a seat next to Zanzia,I took a glass of red wine and had a sip.
Just as Zanzia leaned over to tell me something,the room fell silent, Zanzia and I looked around and my eyes  darted to the staircase where my father stood with a few men around him...'wait was that royals from the Floridian family?'
Everyone stood up and bowed as they walked down the staircase,

"What are the Floridians doing here?"
Zanzia whispered over to me and I nodded my head not knowing as well.
Suddenly my dad called out to me in the crowd,

"Octavia,come here"
I looked over to Zanzia's confused face then back at my father.
I made my way to him as he stood next to a man I've never seen before.
I stopped Infront of them and made eye contact with the man that stood next to my father,I looked back at my father with a questioning face.

"Octavia meet Prince Regis Ryker  from the Floridian royal family..."
I looked at the man,he was good looking but his eyes said other wise as they roamed my body up and down like he was judging my looks,'perv.'
My eyes met his as he walks closer,he takes my hand and kisses it eyes still on mine.

"Pleasure to meet you your highness, Octavia"
He said still holding my hand,

"Pleasures all mine"
I replied taking my hand out of his,he smirked and looked down then back to my eyes.

"You are much more beautiful in person your highness then your father his Majesty described"
I looked over to my father who was giving me a warning look to be nice then looked back at Prince Regis,

"I know thank you"I looked away, disinterested in this conversation.

"So you're Majesty when is the wedding to be?"
Suddenly my stomach dropped,
'wedding?'
I glared at my father,

"In two days time Prince Regis, we'll have everything ready so don't you worry"
My father spoke and I turned to leave,

"Octavia don't be disrespectful,great your guests"
My father spoke,I just turned my head and nodded then walked off,I knew he was gonna give me a theory later but I was angry that he didn't discuss this marriage with me first.
I walked over to Zanzia and sat down gulping down the wine,

"Easy,slow down,what's the matter?"
She asked taking the glass from me.

"Nothing,I don't want to speak about it"
I say glaring at my father as he escort the guest.

The night came to an end and all the guest have left.Zanzia was staying in the palace with me for company for the next two months.
I showed her her bedroom and she got settled in.I went to my room,taking off the thick layers of gown I had on and got into a bath.

I laid in the warm water,relaxing to the sound of morning chirping of the birds as I saw the suns light blazed into my room.I got out of the bath rapping the towel around me and stood by the belcony doors moving the curtains so the light could enter the entire room.
'The sunrise is as beautiful as ever...i wish you were here to watch it with me...mom.'

"Morning sunshine!"
Zanzia came bursting through the door,I jumped a bit and laughed looking in her direction.
She had pancakes and grape juice in a tray.'Im glad she's here,if she wasn't I'll probably have murdered anyone else who did that.'

She sat the tray on the table next to my bed and hopped on my bed calling me over.
I sat down next to her as she handed me a plate.

"Guess what I planned for the day...?"
She said with a smirk playing on her face...'oh I know that face'
We both gave each other a knowingly look before bursting out into laughter.
