And so I become a rebel

This chapter is kinda messy, you're just doing goofy stuff until... you'll find out.

I was wrong. This shit is tiring. One by one, I glanced at each scroll, and checked it was in the correct spot, if not, I placed it on a pile on the floor. There was actually a place for them, a magical cabinet that did something magical, I'm guessing.

From time to time, as the pile on the floor got too big, I carried the whole thing over and dumped all the scrolls into the cabinet. Then I closed the cabinet for just a second, then opened it again.

Guess what? The scrolls were gone!!! MAGIC RULES! I had also decided, that someday I would go in there myself. That day wasn't today though.

Although it was tiring, boring and and very awkward doing that in silence as others passed by every now and then. I occasionally stopped and glanced out a window, the sun had moved way too much, and it was already getting dark. Also, my concentration span was kinda... shit.

Every second scroll, I'd stop to read about what had happened in these peoples lives. Most were boring, but if there was even something interesting about them, it could distract me from five to ten minutes.

And these people do have cool names, but their lives are boring as hell. Literally they are just writing day to day! Well, there was some drama with a guy and his girlfriend but they were both cheating on each other with the same girl... yeah, and the news were spreading faster than high school gossip.

But I'm already well over half-way! I just need an hour or two and no more distractions and I'm done. I just hope-

"(y/n), it is time to go back to the dorm. Have you finished doing today's task yet?" ...that Fenwick doesn't come by... Oh, my, lord... What do I do now?!

I stopped sorting through scrolls and turned to face Fenwick as he walked over to me from the entrance.

"I have not, but I'll be done soon if I get just a little more time." I said, trying my best to force a model smile on my face.

"But night time has already started, (y/n). Simply put, I'm disappointed you couldn't finish even one task. And you haven't even eaten yet, I'm surprised you haven't just plainly asked for my help." Fenwick, don't you try! I know what you're trying to do, and it won't work.

"I swear, head writer, that I am able to do it, just let me take this night shift, and I'm done! Please?!" I pleaded like my life was on the line, literally. Of course I still tried to sound as polite as possible.

"Hmm... Alright then, but there will be no other exceptions. Make sure you remember that. But I truly hope you can get a nights rest." Ay, Ay, Captain! Also, you sound sarcastic as hell, as if you actually want me to sleep well... How could I possibly even starve?

"Of course. I won't you disappoint again." I gave Fenwick a bow as he finally left.

"Bitch..." That part I said under my breath only once the doors had closed behind him.

Fenwick, I know you can't hear me, but please, you and your bitchboy-bowlcut-uncool-lame-wifeless-husbandless-wrinkly-old ass can leave me alone! With respect, me. Smiley face. :)

Also, what did I ever do to you for you to want to feed me to your pet monkey-bear thingy?!?! I'm a good student I swear to the first Spinjitzu master.

But since I just got the whole night to finish this thing, and I did kinda want to get some sleep, so got back to work. This time, I fought the urge to waste time as I went through the scrolls.

"Oh, you know what I miss from Earth? Spotify! I need music or I'm gonna die! Ughhh... I miss my phone..."

As I cried to myself in the empty writing hall, I grabbed the next scroll I needed to check when I accidentally knocked the next one down as well. I quickly checked the scroll I had in my hands, and it was on the right spot, so I put it back.
