Remi's POV
I woke up and the warmth I fell asleep too was missing. I slowly opened my eyes, blinking and rubbing my eyes. I sat up and looked around the cage, Lloyd was no where to be found. I knew Morro had taken control of his body again, probably using him find the tomb of the first spinjitzu master.
I tucked my knees to my chest, my arms laying on top and I rested my chin on my arms. I had to get out of here, but the cage was made of vengestone and the only time it opened was when Morro was returning Lloyd's body. I perked up as an idea popped into my mind.
If I could get the keys from the guard, or possibly get out when Morro puts Lloyd back in the cage, then I can save Lloyd and we can go find the ninja. A plan began to form in my head as I sat and waited for Morro to return with Lloyd. I didn't plan on leaving Lloyd behind, I was going to get him to safety.
The day passed slowly, I worked on the details of my plan as I waited. The air turned from hot and humid to cool and crisp as the evening began to set in. A small shiver ran down my spine as a gentle breeze blew. I heard the familiar sound of footsteps and turned to see Morro still in Lloyd's body.
I kept a neutral expression on my face as I glanced at him. Morro released his hold on Lloyd and his ghost body slipped out of Lloyd's body. Lloyd fell to the floor. I tensed up and stood. Morro simply grinned at my protectiveness over Lloyd, he opened the cage and tossed Lloyd's body in. I caught him and held him up.
When the cage opens there's a brief moment where I'm able to feel my powers. Because I'm not completely surrounded by the vengestone anymore. I tap into my powers and shoot out a beam of light at Morro, but it took more energy than I expected.
I crouched down, still holding Lloyd, a scowl set onto my face. I shot out another beam of light with less effort than before. Morro just barely dodged the second one after being hit by the first. I lunged out of the cage, my power surging through me in waves.
Morro snarled and pushed his arms out, shooting a blast of wind at us. I slide back but held my ground, but it made my hold on Lloyd slip a bit. I growled and gently placed Lloyd by my feet before creating a ball of light in my hands, I shot it at morro who dodged, but I brought it back around and it hit him in the back.
A confident smirk grew on my lips. I turned to the entrance and formed my elemental dragon. Suddenly I was blasted into a wall by a gust of wind. I cried out in pain, a cackle from morro made me snarl. I forced myself up, turning back around to face morro. I was met with morro in Lloyd's body.
I clenched my jaw, earning a smirk from morro. My eyes burned with tears, I knew I wasn't strong enough to fight morro so soon after getting my powers back. But I couldn't leave Lloyd. My heart ached, but I forced my self to turn and run out the entrance.
I jumped off and was in a free fall, but I managed to summon my dragon. I flee as fast as my dragon could, tears falling down my cheeks flew off in the wind. I had to find the others.
